These electric burners can boil; people just need to put the lids on and they boil. I have this one as well and so far it works fine. Thanks for sharing your video.

Putting a lid on did help it to boil faster. It does turn off and on to regulate temperature. It’s not like the stove but we had to shut off the gas due to a leak and we have been able to eat thanks to the hot plates

I am thinking about buying that and a griddle so I can cook a large amount of food at once and freeze the meals for later

@@mstrawder66 me too. I have a kitchen island and 2 door mini fridge with freezer on top, and a oster oven n microwave n bar table for 2. Its perfect for me. You have too.. Right. Whatever works for you 😊

It shuts off by it self it does not get to hot cuz of that i dont like it ....
Did it happen to smoke just alittle during the break in process ? (Both plates on high for 10 min) I didn’t notice any electrical smell or anything but just wondering if it’s somewhat normal as it says there may be fumes during the first heat up cycle etc.. thanks

I just purchased one, and yes, there was a burning smell for the first few minutes.
