Farage, cakes and single-use vapes
Claire Fox, member of the House of Lords and director of the Academy of Ideas, joins Chris Snowdon and Tom Slater for the latest episode of Last Orders. They discuss what Nigel Farage’s return might mean for the General Election, the panic over nicotine pouches and the pointlessness of the sugar tax.

I'm a big fan of Claire Fox, she understands people, and she knows the disgust we feel towards parliament across the board. Reform is like a glimmer of sanity in the asylum we've been forced into by Red and Blue Labour.
Clare Fox, the best in the House of Lords, the rest, forgot it.

Dan Hannan and Matt Ridley are better.
Love how Claire can turn up here and on the Telegraph's Planet Normal podcast and come across as utterly intelligent, sensible and balanced on both.

Is that surprising?
The podcast title should rhyme, From now to the end of time.
Why do you keep talking about populism? It's called DEMOCRACY

Because they arent necessarily the same thing.
Farage thought it was not the right time, initially, for him to go for it. He had to make sure it would work out.
Realistically the disposable vape issue is not to do with health, but with the unavoidable issue that these vapes contain rechargeable lithium batteries that are thrown into bins, bushes and so on all over the world. They’re absolutely horrendous because people don’t “dispose” of them properly. I can’t walk out of the house without seeing discarded plastic vapes containing batteries, it’s disgraceful.
People smoking near me does nake me want to smoke, but thats my problem and noone elses.
12:05 Amazing 😂 'A big moment for him'
I'm addicted to tea, are they going to ban that now?
So when they stop us all smoking ,and we are all driving electric cars, how are they going to replace the millions in lost tax revenue???????????

Tax and cuts to services. Ongoing unfortunately.
Great episode
As they say, "she's got a head piece on her"!
I had never vaped in my life. Then the government said they wanted to ban disposable vapes so it put the idea in my head to give them a go whilst we still can. I now have 20 disposable vapes 😂😂
31:05 That made me laugh out loud
Tell her she can get really simple refillable vapes, basically identical to disposables but with a hole to refill it. You don't have to get a complicated vape.
❤ Baroness Fox ❤
Teach cooking from scratch at school, less dependency on crap processed food. Thatll do it.
Oxalates are the issue not the sugar.
The single use vapes I buy are already illegal 😉
I used to quite like her a little bit. She wore a firm fitting mask. But like all mask they slip. Them !
5 ⭐ Rating from me.
Smoke a pipe 😉
