As a former YTer, I noticed that people don't really care about "production value" on a YT channel. As you know, content is king. As long as we can see clear video and crisp audio, the editing style doesn't matter. Just my 2 cents.

@@flicks28 That isn't why. It's the same reason people are content with mono bluetooth speakers and really didn't need or want the digital conversion (1080i OTA or 4/8K video). Like with art unless you can be taught how to appreciate things, it's just blah to you. Another reason is people are pressed for time, so getting to the point the quickest is best. Challenging for content creators. You can also see it in the DM's CB gets, today's generation is more interested in the answer than how we came to that conclusion.

Lucky for you, us motorheads love seeing cars no matter what part of the world they are in. The more areas you get to in order to expose the car culture the better!!

Regarding those travel videos from during the situation; yeah, there's definitely a lot of people who loved them. They gave people a vicarious experience while trapped at home. And for some, it was something to look forward to doing once we were all able to travel again.

I agree they were awesome, but who was trapped? I loved them because they were Thailand and I was going through the immigration process with my wife. I rode my. Motorcycle in Southern California more than pre Covid. When I rode along the coast, there were so many people out. Far more than pre Covid. This idea that people were trapped in their homes, especially in California was a political narrative that just wasn’t true. It might have been true for the first week or two, but that shit changed quickly. For sure there was ridiculous things like scenic turnouts on twisty roads being blocked, or piers being closed. Also they closed parking lots at the beach, but people got around all that bs. Remember, fake news isn’t only from one political perspective. I hate political bs, but I have no problem pushing back on it.

I also traveled for work about 70% as normal. I remember my first trip to Texas from California thinking it was gonna be a Covid free for all. Wrong! The restrictions and guidelines were by far more strictly followed. On a work trip, every meal is eaten out. In California, my wife cooked 90% of our meals which is awesome, I love Thai food, but in Texas… they were serious. No wonder my Texas friends were so facebook vocal against Covid. If they had come to California they really would have hated us.

Our favorite sushi joint had no sushi bar because of Covid so we would order to go and drive 2 blocks to the beach and watch the waves crash while eating our Thai made sushi. The only thing missing was sake and beer….lol.

A drama free life is 100% justification for NOT having a girlfriend! Great choice Chad! As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😇

I am 50 years old, and this may sound a little insensitive, but I have learned that women in the sense of relationships are only good for having kids and raising a family. Aside from that, they offer no value whatsoever because the experiences that men and women have are completely different. I would rather chug a couple of beers with good male friends. I do have two female friends that I meet up with from time to time for good bedroom fun, but we understand that it’s only for fun and nothing serious.

@@joer8386 If you have these options. Because of the economic dynamics in SEA being a Western free agent works because there are plenty of attractive women to have casual dates with. Not that their demand for LTR"s has changed, you have a much bigger pool of women to choose from than back at home. You don't have to rush into something. I don't blame CB Media for not desiring to return to the US. People keep asking because they want to confirm their own bias that the US is still the best country to be in. Only for the Top 10% currently enjoys life in the United States. It's much easier to find happiness by reducing outlay rather than trying to make a million.

Ya the moving thing !! stay in Thailand. I just lost my wife to Cancer 1 month ago today and when i get my crap in order i will be moving there also. I need to get out of the Canada USA area...

Your motorbike vids were gold. It reminded me of a time when I lived in Chiang Mai and rode my motorbike all over the north. That time in my life was the best and will never be replicated, just as your experience can never be replicated. Oddly, the situation worked out in your favor. Covid actually made it possible to experience what Thailand was like many years ago. Happy you got to experience that brother! Good luck on your future endeavors. Ill be watching

I had some of my best memories and travel experiences during covid. I was in Thailand for most of it as well as Spain and the uk. Everything was chill and prices were dirt cheap. Now everything has been turned up to 11 😢
