Agreed 100% - always telling my friends that Faouzia's is one of the greatest voices in history. In the same way society had to be primed for K-pop/J-pop, once society accepts her sound, there will be no limit to her success.

tbh I was hearing promo for rip love on tiktok and I at first (regretfully) didn't pay much attention to it since a lot of the songs being promoted on tiktok aren't good and some of the artists are just industry plants, but I remember being impressed with the sound right off the bat. Flash forward to a couple of days after and the song is constantly being advertised to me, so much so to the point that I had it stuck in my head and decided to follow faouzia and start listening to her music, waiting for the release of rip love. The song came out and it was as mesmerising as I thought it would be, and up until now I'm still at awe with how amazing this woman's voice is. I recently listened to citizens and I'm still obsessed with all the tracks, and though I've never considered taking singing seriously (I'm one of the kids who was just raised by musical parents so ive always been half decent) but hearing her range and her technique and her sheer skill has me practicing seriously now. I just love when artists release something that revives old passions or makes you pursue new ones, and I think faouzia is one of those artists.
