Johnny Storm wasn't included in "The New Fantastic Four" cartoon from the 70s because the character had been optioned by Universal Studios for a planned production that never came to be. Since Johnny Storm couldn't be used in the cartoon for legal reasons this lead to the creation of H.E.R.B.I.E. The whole "taken out so kids wouldn't set themselves on fire" thing is just urban legend.

how can you possibly say that invisible woman was the most expensive of the FF classics figs . dragon man is 6-7 times more expensive

Dragon man is by far the most valuable figure of the Fantastic Four Classics line. Far more than the two you mentioned. He sold as high as $800 on card

ELSE ONER Thanks for the input but please remember that this video was made a few years ago and prices are constantly fluctuating. Also the price or value of a figure doesn't always reflect its rarity but rather it's popularity or demand.

Great overview of F4 figures, I just won all four of the Ronan series. the last time i found Dragon-Man it was £800 with one of the wings missing. Surley Disney must have the money and clout to take the F4 from Fox, as the last movie was diabolical.

I think the cheapest way to collect all four characters is by buying loose figures that came in the Toy Biz box sets. I managed to pick up Thing, Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman and Human Torch this way and probably paid an average of £5 per figure. Compare that to pretty much any other versions of these characters and you can't possibly beat that, although it does mean having to put up with a rather fugly Sue Storm (though the other three are all rather excellent and make up for her deficiencies).

As a collector This is Everything I want to see in a video! most "toy videos" only review specific figures with articulation etc.. but the History and what came first up until current figures is what I love to see

plus thing was in series 2 of ML. not series 1. series 1 was only toad, hulk, iron man and cap with their variants. but thing, doom, human torch and namor were series 2.
