Given the lack of buildup for the final battle in the current version of the show, both finales are no longer synced. By this, I mean if you played both final battles from their beginnings (seen at 0:05), the fire ignition parts wouldn’t happen at the same time. The former version had the fire ignition scene happen later than the current version that plays. I hope this makes sense!

when they build a new dragon, can they use fire safe measures so it shuts down in the event of a fuel leak?

First of all, The grand opening of Fantasmic as "Fantasmic 1.0" in Rivers of America in 1992 with the old puppet Tick-Tick Crocodile, Ursula and her two goons and Maleficent's dragon form and the classic Peter Pan sequence with the old scenes before the grand opening of Disney's Hollywood Studios version of Fantasmic in 1998!!!! Second of all, After the grand opening of Tokyo DisneySea version of Fantasmic in 2011, which is part of Tokyo DisneySea's 10th anniversary celebration and before the grand opening of a new land, "Star Wars: Galaxy Edge", the final performance of the classic Fantasmic 1.0 show has been temporarily closed with the rest of the puppets and the old Peter Pan sequence and the old Bruce Healey's post-show music, which had been removed in 2016 in order to make way for Fantasmic 2.0 with new sequence from Pirates of the Caribbean, Aladdin, The Lion King, and Disney Princesses and every other Disney and Pixar films and along with Auto-Animatronic Maleficent's Dragon form, and a new post-show about Imagination music from Tokyo DisneySea version of Fantasmic, and right before the final performance of Disney's Hollywood Studios version of Fantasmic 1.0 show with the old Pocahontas sequence has come to an end in 2020!!!! And third of all, after the final performance of Tokyo DisneySea version of Fantasmic show has come to an end in 2020 in order to make way for a new show, "Believe! Sea of Dreams" in 2022, while the final performance of the Fantasmic 1.0 show has come to an end with the old Pocahontas sequence, which had been removed in order to make way for Disney's Hollywood Studios version of Fantasmic 2.0 with new Heroic sequence from Pocahontas, Mulan, Aladdin, Frozen and Moana in 2022, and it's all because of Bob Chapek and COVID-19 pandemic, the final performance of Disneyland version of Fantasmic 2.0 show has come to an end TWICE, along with the new Pirates of the Caribbean sequence and new Imagination post-show music has been removed and the old Auto-Animatronic Maleficent's Dragon form has been burned and ruined in the hands of the fire in 2023, in order to make way for Disneyland version of Fantasmic 3.0 show with a new battle sequence between Mickey and Maleficent, along with the old favorites: the classic Peter Pan sequence and the classic Bruce Healey's post-show music WITHOUT ANYTHING ELSE!!!! YOU SEE? With all due respect, This is what happened to the Disneyland version of Fantasmic 3.0 show as the third renovation of this show!!! And i hope that Auto-Animatronic Maleficent's Dragon form will be headed into a new lagoon show as Fantasmic show at Disney Adventure World in Paris and i hope that every upcoming attractions and projects at EPCOT and Disney Experiences will be announced at this year's D23 event on August 9-11 in the United States 🇺🇸!!!! So, i saw it in a vision and a dream, because the Magic of Disney, D23 event and 100 Years of Disney Animation and the Walt Disney Company will NEVER GIVE UP ✨️!!!! what if the person playing maleficent freaks out from great heights? The dragon is enormous and big, still a bit too high to not fear falling

I keep hearing rumors that a new one is being built… supposedly in London? That might be a stretch haha, who knows what’s happening at this point. I will admit that the final battle scene feels very temporary though.
