    @entbratthecool I'm aware of that, but it obviously couldn't have been easy to locate clips that echo the animation sequences from Disney's "Rite Of Spring" so very closely. It's almost uncanny how close it comes to the original in several places.

    The Rite of Spring is my favorite part of Fantasia. I like how it first starts out traveling through intergalactic space to our own Milky Way Galaxy and makes to when our planet was being formed. I like how it goes to when life first formed and evolved since then until the age of the dinosaurs. Such beautiful segues. The film came out in 1940 and they didn't know much about the dinosaurs at that time. It wasn't until the 1970's that scientists started to unveil their mysteries. No one knew how the dinosaurs became extinct until 1980 when the father and son team of Walter and Luis Alvarez, both geologists, discovered that the dinosaurs became extinct from an asteroid strike 66 million years ago. 10 years after that on an oil expedition in the Gulf of Mexico left to the discovery of the Chicxulub Crater around the Yucatan Peninsula measuring an astonishing 93 miles across. It was caused my an asteroid about the size of Mount Everest. After the impact in a matter of weeks, the dinosaurs as we know it would be wiped out. As a matter of fact it was the second great extinction event in earth's history, wiping out 75% of the species on the planet. The earth and life itself wouldn't recover for millions of years after the Chicxulub Asteroid impact. With the extinction of the dinosaurs gave rise to mammals and eventually paved the way for us humans. I wouldn't say the dinosaurs are totally extinct. The birds are their direct descendants.

    Walt Disney's Fantasia has always harbored many different myriads of emotion, wonder, and a general sense of old world nostalgia for many years to come. As for this number of Walt Disney's timeless concert themed classic that first officially aired in 1947: Fantasia's segment called 'the Rite of Spring' by Igor Stravinsky (though originally meant as a public ballet, was by all dead to rights by Walt Disney and his dedicated team of talented artists, animators and story makers upon hearing the number ideal for this segment had decided to turn the viewing and hearing experience for their Fantasia program into a full-blown pageant. And if you ask anyone who knows this all too well, you can bet that they were very glad it worked out that way for everyone) I'll honestly admit the original scenes for this number were fun, whimsical and imaginative during it's time but these scenes (though fanmade) however on a real world standing and practical long-term basis it all basically seems much more reasonable and even more believable especially from a scientific, statistical and logical point of view. Though I am glad this number (courtesy of Walt Disney's Fantasia) and these kind of scenes worked incredibly well together just as much as the original set up masterfully did in 1947 😊

    This is fantastic, this might well be the best reworked Disney/old animation I have ever seen! Pretty much completely Scientifically accurate/up to date. I love how the music (quite possibly one of my favourite Classical works) still works so well alongside it as well! I know people are moaning about the Sound effects, but they suit the footage! Props to you uri0606 for your magnificent job on this!

    This is seriously brilliant. It truthfully follows the Disney version but is light-years ahead in images and sounds. The research, the careful editing, the attention to detail, the continuity - the person who did this is a true artist, top of his field (I'm assuming it's a 'he' since uri is masculine). Anyway, it's a stunning piece of work, streets ahead of anything else I've seen, and Rite of Spring is not "ruined" by claps of thunder or TRex roars - the images were enhanced by these without detriment to the music. Congratulations, Uri0606. A magnificent piece of work. I was sorry when it ended.

Terror Birds It took part in the North - South mass Migration but went extinct due to complications with Dire wolves and Smilodon. 6. Carnotaurus The males may have had colourful arms to mate. 7. • @uri0606

    @uri0606

    4 жыл бұрын

    Yes, the scientists are still conflicted about the meteor theory. it's not yet set in stone to be the primer cause for the K-T extinction. that being said, even if the meteor is in fact the main catalyst, it's not unlikely a chain of reactions caused by the demolition has lead to climate changes resulting in global droughts, causing dinosaurs to migrate in search of food and water.

    The movie came out 1940, before the meteor theory surfaced. Latest theory with lots of evidence to support is that the meteor strike sent trillions of tons of debris into the stratosphere which returned and destroyed the dinosaurs in a matter of a few hours, not months. Astounding to imagine. Radiolab interviewed the scientists.

    If Disney does to recreate the Rite of Spring I hope they include the age of mammals as the true ending They don’t have to add in caveman or any other human ancestor as long as they end it with the age of mammals dawning since the original ended with the extinction of all life on earth but that isn’t true the end of the age of dinosaurs didn’t end with all life going extinct It began the age of mammals after the planet recovered from the KPG mass extinction event mammals would rise to take the dinosaurs throne but to show the audience that dinosaurs never truly died out show a bird interacting with a few Eocene mammals
