Fantaisie Impromptu opus.post.66 by Chopin 1834 version

Музыка

Piano Performance by Clifford Evans of the Fantaisie Impromptu in C# minor opus post.66 by Chopin, who was well-known for his improvisatory skills and is likely to have improvised this piece which meant he didn't regard it as a formal composition. This explains why it wasn't published until after the composer's death. If you would like tuition on this piece or any other you can find more info about piano lessons on clifford-evans.com. @cliffordevans6720

Thank you Clifford. KZread recommended this to me and I've been listening to this and other songs you've recently uploaded on repeat. I would really enjoy having more of them to listen to if possible. There really is something special and calming about your playing, I enjoy these even more than the standard versions available on KZread.

Fabulous Cliff. I wonder if we will see my favourite one (a hard one for me to learn)? C# minor prelude? 😉

Hi, thanks for your lovely comment and yes the C# minor is tricky for everyone and I would recommend doing easier ones first like the F minor study opus 25 no 2 or even the Revolutionary opus 10 no 12. I 'm not planning the C# minor one yet, but I will include the 2 others just mentioned.

Thank you for your requests and I will make strong note of these. I have often taught the beautiful C# minor Nocturne but that's not in my list at the moment. I have performed the G minor Ballade in London and look forward to including that on youtTube eventually, but not until I done more miniatures to build up the audience. You make a very good choice of repertoire.
