Fanitullen (The Devils Tune) - acoustic guitar

Музыка

"Fanitullen", or "The Devils Tune" was heard for the first time during a wedding in a valley in Norway in 1724. When the toastmaster went down to the cellar to get more beer. In the cellar the toastmaster saw a man sitting on the barrell of beer playing this tune on a fiddle held the wrong way around, pressing the neck of the fiddle against his chest and
stomping the beat on the barrell with a horse hoof. The fiddler was the devil.

He went down to the cellar when a killing was happening. A battle. Man to man, strapped with a belt, back to back, with a knife in your hands. The survivor "wins"... Skål fra Norge!

Lovely rendition of a great melody. But your fact sheet seems to be missing the part where two of the guests fought to the death while the devil played.

Did you change any strings to change the tuning? I attempted the EAEAEG tuning but the strings were so tense I didn't risk it, I also tried down tuning but the strings weren't tense enough. (It may also be that I've been more used to tuning a violin recently so the guitar more feels different)
