I passed thru Salt Lake city around 1998 with a U-hual truck containing an organ I removed for myself from a church on Long Island that wanted to discard it, and Richard had invited me to see THE organ, I had a heck of a time finding a parking space but I managed and went to visit and he showed me the console and invited me to play something, and then too me to the Sipe organ in assembly hall, it was a fantastic experience and he was SO nice, I felt like royalty. Believe me though, when you sit at the console and play the organ, you hear the organ in one ear and 5 seconds later you hear it just as clearly in your OTHER ear after the sounds bounce back from the other end of the amazing massive space! it was SO confusing I had to really slow it down and try to ignore what I was hearing in one ear!

@@HobbyOrganist WOW! You know Richard Elliot? I have searched so much for him on social platforms but to no avail. I have been able to reach out to Clay Christiansen and Brian Matthias. I would be thrilled if I could reach out to Richard Elliot. If he ever comes to perform in Canada, I wouldn't want to miss it. Well you had an amazing experience. I have the same feeling using the artificial cathedral effects on the digital organ. Though it's not the same but it still rocks.
