@@IzzToasted here we go: This is what the game of Omori is about: It starts out cute and innocent then within the first 15-20 minutes it turns into a psychological horror game. It’s starts with you playing as this 12 year old emo named Omori. You start in white space which is where Omori spends most of his time alone. When he’s not alone he goes to this place through a door in white space which leads to a world full of color and magical looking things. He stands out tho bc hes the only thing that’s in black and white. There lives his friends, Kel, Aubrey, kel’s older brother Hero, and Omori’s older sister Mari. And his bff of all time who sorta has a tiny crush on him (at least I think he does) basil. In this world they all go on adventures with each other and explore the colorful world until SOMETHING enters the world that’s not supposed to be there. SOMETHING hidden deep outside of the world. Something bad happens and that’s where everything takes the darkest turn. Forcing Omori and his friends to figure out this dark mystery while slowly forgetting about what’s truly important. Except Omori….. he’s hiding something dark, him and basil… there’s more to the story that meets the eye… something way way darker. Almost as dark as fnaf (In some aspects). The game has many twists and turns as well as many many secrets for you to find, most of them are terrifying. This dream like world slowly turns into a nightmare forcing Omori to face his worst fears in the most terrifying form possible. (Game warning include: self harm, mentions of su!s!de, horror elements like blood, jump scares, disturbing images, hallucinations, dead bodies, extreme depression, toxic parents, verbal abuse, bullying, decapitation [dw it’s not detailed or gross], arachnophobia inducing scenes, Necrophobia (fear of dead things coming to life or just dead things in general, usually paranormally related) inducing scenes, Eisoptrophobia/ catoptrophobia/ Spectrophobia (fear of mirrors or something that might be in a mirror, scared of seeing something disturbing or supernatural in a mirror or scared of seeing yourself in a mirror typical in people with schizophrenia) inducing scenes, Autophobia (fear of being alone) sensitive scenes, extremely sad will make you cry in all 9 endings you can get technically there’s only 4, good ending, bad ending, neutral ending, hikikiomori ending, and the then the secret ending which is basically a variation of the good ending but so worth it to get and then the rest of the endings are variations of the main endings) The whole game is centered around overcoming your fears and trauma. All the characters deal with trauma differently so everyone can at least relate to one of the characters. The game is truly touching and sad and lovely and gives you valuable lesson and insight on how to deal with depression. so if your sensitive to the warning I gave I don’t recommend playing it because the way the characters deal with these topics is very realistic to irl. otherwise I highly recommend it. It truly changed my life for the better! 💗💗💗💗 oh and the music is so good it’s like the music from undertale sorta. The boss fights are epic and the battle system is truly unique by adding emotions as a big factor on game strategy! If you decide to play it or do a watch through I really recommend and hope you enjoy it 💗💗💗 Edit: I’m sorry this is so long of a thing to read 💀 Edit I updated the game warnings

I adore this video it's so good! And for Vincent x Rody I agree but I low-key love it, but only in a messed up toxic way. Heavily one-sided and they would NEVER have any actual romantic interactions. I just think that Vincent being some crazy dude who doesn't know how to express emotions in a non-murderous way is cool.

Honestly I'm crazy enough to actually agree with William.

When I tell you, I ATE this up (like how Vince did with Rody's ear.....), I ATE IT!!! I love Vincent x Rody, but I know they would be mad toxic, and that's also do fulfilling to me because it really shows the dark undersides to people and life and just emotions. In another world, where life was dandy, hell, maybe even during the 2000s, they would probably get together. Vincent is far from insane and we only got a peak of his backstory when we saw his mother in a photo in his office, people ship them because Vince is canonically gay and him and Rody actually had chemistry before the endings, Vincent is FARR from insane he has morals but he was just desperate and clearly not in a good mental space, we don't know a lot about the characters and the ship is fueled by the art from RDT and Rix, love is much more complicated and as toxic as their relationship would be it would still be love. Even if heavily one sided. NOT SAYING u have to ship them js trynna help u understand why others do

I've finished watching it and I just want to say you portrayed Rody x Vincent perfectly. A good way to ship it without making it weird or sexualising it. Serious Kudos to you, I loved every second of this.

fair enough, I don't really catch up with developer news and they don't say anything about it in the game so I took a wild guess lmao

One thing I just think ppl miss about Vincent, is that he doesn’t really know what “love” means in any meaningful way or context. So when Rody asks “that we got together, or that you could taste again?”, you can see how Vincent got quite confused. Because for him the only thing that matters is tasting food again. And also a detail, The critics he has about his food is that doesn’t have enough “love” innit. So ofc Vincent who doesn’t know what love means, will think and be the way he is.

I agree with what you said about Vincent x Rody,Even though I like the ship, I only like it because they are tragic,And Vincent is disturbed, they would never be healthy together,Also, if Vincent had survived the fire, Rody definitely wouldn't have kept him. 16:00 Ignore this if you can't stomach the gore part of Dead Plate combined with mature-rated fanfics! (Btw, it's about the note about the Rody x Vincent ship which I 100% agree with.) There was another one on Ao3 (I think??) where they just completely sexualized the cannibalism. Shit was terrifying. I read just about anything I can get my grubby little hands on and, at the time, I had a fun little Dead Plate hyper-fixation. Just to put it into perspective, there was a whole chapter where they're doing the deed (it really wasn't necessary to the plot or anything), and he CUTS. RODY'S. LEG. OPEN. and takes a FORKFUL OF. HIS. MUSCLES. And then he ATE IT! WHILE DOING THE NASTY!!! How can a person sit in front of a screen and write stuff like that? If I had to choose, I'd 100% take the ones where he survives (but really, how; his throat was S H R E D D E D) over that one.
