Morisette amon Asia's Phoenix is the greatest vocalist of all time.

It is frustrating to see some of the comments here that promote negativity. Some comments are being stated not relevant to this performance and some are expressed like they are crying coz they think their favorites are not included in this DFF concert here and, others are acting like judges in a competition. Please bear in mind that these Philippine singers/artists are chosen guests of Mr. DF based on the recommendations of his local partner of this concert. And DFF concert is promoting local best talents by showcasing their ability and potential to be world known stars. We all know that Mr. DF is a man of words (" you will be known to the world... I promise you") He did it to Charice and Gerphil Flores already. Why can't we be proud of every deserving local talents brought to the world by this man..... . Please be a commenter with etiquette and be wholesome with the words you expressed. Personal opinion is a privilege and must be stated with utmost respect to the individual/artist concerned because everyone who has less knowhow with music is just a tip of a fingernail of these artists who develop their skills w/ years of hard work. MAY GOD, This rendition kills me, she sangs much better than the first one. She gives me goosebumps all over. She sings better and better and this rendition of hers will shock the world as she gave justice to the song. I/we know Legendary David Forster was so pround for her performance, amazingly Morissette sings it live in front of him. 🙏👌💯❤❤❤

Hi Joey you’ll probably find majority of these grubs that comes from the bottom of the ocean can’t stand seeing others having success and fulfillment in their lives. Their lives are so miserable that they will never get to experience that feeling of joy and happiness thus they have to drag others to their level. Don’t worry because I truly believe in karma. *She is a unicorn.* The only singer I know who can replicate the *mid-belt power/mastery* of a Whitney Houston (as evidenced by this performance, which rate a 10/10!), while also possessing the *elite vocal cord closure skills* of a prime Mariah Carey (i.e. wide range of timbres, tones, textures, and registrations--with special mention to her ease of access to the whistle register--as evidenced by her signature "squeaks"). Usually, a singer can only master one or the other. It's very rare to be an elite belter (thick folds), like she is, while also having an excellent whistle register (thin folds) on command. For many, that's overstretching the limits of your vocal cords. *Somehow, Morissette managed to master both.* Again, a unicorn. A special breed.

Charice is the one that turn my attention to the talent in the Philippines, and she WAS simply amazing....from watching her at 10-11 y/o at competitions, to Ellen, to Oprah , and Glee and being mentored with David....she had the tone, the control and range , but when Charice left and Jake emerged most of that was lost.... until Morissette took that stage , and will become a name the world will embrace. Lets remember , this concert is afternoon and evening, for 4 or 5 days...and Mori is performing each show except 2....some performances might not as stellar as others. She slayed it this show.

Wow! In David's heart, he will definitely agreed Morissette is a best elite vocalist in one's of his playlist now and Mori has also given all the ability she can and never give the master disappointed! Well done Queen. I wish, David will sign up with her a routine of series performances at others venues, especially in the US/UK or Europe concert tours. And for sure, this time round, DF will not be disappointed again of his efforts and times to promote rising stars in Philippines, after charice decided to pull out due to his decision on transgender. I believe, Morissette's will always be a female phoenix and maintain her status in happily marriage with Dave to be one of the powerful music couple in the world.

I went through from Jake's version (Charice) it was superb as always, but I like Morissette version more. It is just a matter of preference, voice tonal quality is subjective and I like Morissette's more, maybe Charice has more dept and darker tone that's why, Whitney's songs suit him well, but if I bet he sings Mariah, can he pull through? I've always loved the David Foster performances with Charice, and while no two singers are identical, for me Morissette is like the re-incarnation of Charice. They each have slight advantages in certain areas, but they are both in a class of their own.

I miss the voice of Charice

*For all the Charice fans here:* I will start off by saying that *nostalgia is a hell of a drug.* Charice *WAS* a young phenom, but she *NEVER* reached her full potential. When you're a young phenom (16-19 years old), the world applauds. Charice was one of the best in her age group, no doubt. *BUT, how was she going to mature?* How was she going to develop? The problem is, Charice *never* really got there. Longevity in this business is one of the hallmarks of greatness. That's what makes Regine Velasquez a living legend. Morissette is now 26 years old, and imo, has already shown the skill and *perseverance* to develop as an apex level singer. Being a "flash in the pan" isn't enough. Charice was a young phenom indeed, but she was a flash in the pan. Mori, on the other hand, was also a young phenom, BUT, she's adapted to the maturation of her vocal cords and vocal tract. She's worked extremely hard to develop her craft, her technique, and it's aging like fine wine, with a trajectory, imo, of being called 'an all time great' when all is said and done.

Yes except for Whitney and Morissette. I checked out Charice’s version since I see a lot of people mentioning that but honestly Morissette’s version just steamrolled over Charice’s version. I enjoyed Morissette’s full beautifully timbered voice more specially in the high registers. Mas masarap pakingan at mas malamig ang boses ni Morissette sa akin. Besides hindi ba Jake na siya ngayon?

David found a better talent after jake zyrus! 😀 This girl is even more physically pleasing than charice and way better singer.
