As far as I know, GOT7 was suggested by JYP PD-nim. If you watch Roommate S2, PD-nim mentioned that g.o.d was supposed to be GOT6 originally, but then it changed. So, I think that was how they came out with this group name. Never heard that Junior came up with the name.
