Fanatics Take Over NHL Uniforms. Should We Give Them a Chance? The Draft-Chelor Finale Rose Ceremony
As the 2023-2024 NHL season came to an end, so did it's contract with Adidas as the exclusive maker of NHL uniforms. That title now belongs to Fanatics and some people are worried. There was a concerted effort to get ahead of the concern on Wednesday through social media and videos. Did it work? Should we at least give Fanatics a shot?

I understand where we are in our corporate time-line but everything you said about the love of the hockey sweater us why there was such fan push back for on jersey ads.

I'd like to see a defensively responsible guy who'll actually be trusted by Bednar in bottom six mins. Beaudin or Luchanko sound good. Jett won the junior equivelant of the Lady Byng for gentlemanly play while being defensively sound too. And he gets the rose!

In Fanatics defense (can’t believe I’m saying that), most of their products are “finished” by embroidery operations around the country. I used to work at one of these, and while we didn’t do anything for Fanatics, we did similar work for other companies. This is where most of the real egregious examples of Fanatics screw ups come from. These operations are usually run at very close margins, and have to produce as much work as fast as possible, and corners get more than cut. Fanatics main problem to this point IMO is terrible quality control.

1) Bring back the yeti foot. 2) I love my Reebok jersey the logo is so stiff it improves my posture when I try to hunch 3) IDKY but has anyone told Kyle he looks like Jamie Benn?

The fabrics used by Fanatics are absolute shit. Nothing will ever top the way Adidas used a different material/texture on the shoulders from the jersey knit of the rest of the sweater. Fanatics jerseys are now just that single low quality material EVERYWHERE. So cheap looking and see-through. When these jerseys come into play I bet during the first fight on the ice someone tears the shit out of this garbage. I WILL NEVER be buying a Fanatic jersey.

According to Fanatics, the same company that made the Adidas jerseys, and NHL jerseys for 50 years, will be making these ones as well. They aren't moving production to their own facility or changing materials

@@LockedOnAvalanche i'll also add that I commend Fanatics (as much as I dislike them) for offering fans the same jerseys as made for players. As an authentic collector, this makes my life significantly better.
