That wheel hub combo looks good tbh , its just a shame theres only one official wheel available to map your buttons unless you still have the P1 with the CSL Elite like me. It makes sense with a smaller lighter wheel you'll feel more ffb compared to something 5 cm wider and heavier, like 270mm Vs 330mm is a lot, my CSL Elite is 6nm and i used to have in-game GT settings at 3 & 3, but lately ive had to increase FFB to 5 and sensitivity is now 1, i always have based seetings at 100 for FFB and Force too, had my CSL for 5 years and still feels good but i dont own any other wheel to compare, it must be worn tbh 😂

I don‘t think that they will have a discount on the hub and the Wheel. It is very cheap for the thing you get. So don‘t wait until BF, the shipping will be sooo awfull for that time.

Great video, just ordered a set. Quick question did the wheel come with the screws to mount it to the hub?

I would buy one if they included QR2 at any level. Not going to fork over another 60 or 100. I already gave them money to upgrade QR. This kind of stuff is why Fanatec is floundering.

So I upgraded my dd GT pro to QR2 but now I'm a bit confused with these bundles. They seem to come with the QR1 on them, with no option to select with QR2? Surely they should be shipping new wheels with QR2 included moving forward?

They come with QR1 lite, but you can of course buy QR2 separately

Thanks for the review, very detailed and helpful. I ended up purchasing F V2.5 wheel after watching your previous review :-) (unfortunately my right shift paddle doesn't work out-of-box). Question - are you not using 8nm? or do you use 5nm? Thanks!

I use 5nm base, I had a though about buying the 8nm but in the end didn't. With 330mm I would be better of with 8nm for sure. Did you maybe contacted Fanatec about that, seems like a big issue

@@DigitRacingDG Why do you not have the boost kit, from what i have read online the 8nm really allows the base to reach the full potential and you will feel more details if you have the boost kit. What is the reason you are sticking with 5nm? Maybe worth finding out if the boost kit is worth it for you.

I specifically bought this wheel for WRC. So I like playing with Formula but in that regard is limited to gt cars and you just can't play rally games with it. I prefer formula but it's not for everything.

I'm using 8nm and I'm using your wheel base and in-game setting. Do I have to reduce some setting to make 8nm balance with 5nm?

Just the in-game settings, I'm force feedback at 7, you can go with 5 or 6

Why don't you remap in the game? How and why should this be in the Fanatec software?
