Also you might realized that Bigbang’s music attracted not only fangirls but fanboys as well with percentage 55% male and 45% female. It's too long and complicated (even for me) to get into everything that is implied and blatantly stated in this mv. But shortly, this song addresses all of his scandals from the past (almost jailed for simulating se on a bed on stage with one of his dancers, accused of plagiarism, and busted for smoking marijuana in Japan) and the duality of being GDRAGON and himself Kwon Jiyong. This double persona concept also comes into play when G-Dragon uses the bear and fox mythology. In Korean folklore, a bear is usually exploited by humans into doing tricks and a fox outwits a bear. You have to keep in mind that all the rules that were put in place in KPop, are there BECAUSE of stuff the 2nd Gen, and let's be honest mostly BigBang, did that caused scandals. Two car accidents, idols can't drive. Grind on a girl on stage, no girls allowed in mvs or on stage with boy idols. (Thank goodness that changed.) Busted for smoking weed in another country, idols are drug tested constantly. You get my point. This song encapsulates all of the scandals, all the things haters say about him and then pretty much states, ya I'm all that but also I make music that you can't ignore and you can't help but love. My request would be for Coup D'Etat or Crayon for the visuals alone. PS. Isn't that TigerJK in the mv???!! How did I never notice that before??

I think the majority of legendary artists in any field are not the clean , saint type , always fallow rules . Best art comes from troubled people a lot of time. One really needs to experiment, live life and all the ups and downs . How can soneone put pain into words , music , paint if they never experienced it . What kind of a party song can someone make if they never had a wild night în their life . 😊 . BigBang really lived like the rockstars of the golden age of rock . 😅

Can't 100% agree with you. I think that it is the media sensationalising and choosing provocotive, sensational language in reporting incidents that makes modern kpop agencies more cautious and restrictive with their artists. GD has pushed boundaries in his career - gives him the title of creative artist. The bed scene on stage may have been a mis-judgement for a korean audience with under 20 yr old fans in the audience (was very short) - but GD was only about 20 then and I think the artistic director of the show and management would have to take more responsibility for that. Wasn't shocking to me, especially considering the lyrics. The marijana incident was when he began smoking a cigatette someone gave him, thought it tasted funny and threw it away. His hair drug test results showed a very slight trace, which corrobarated his explanation, so the judge ruled it as unintentional consumption. To me he generally seems like a hard working, well mannered, respectful person who has handled fame and money at a young age really well.
