I don't think anything needs to be changed about the concerts themselves, because when rules get put, suddenly moshing is banned and the crowd gets anxious and the situation gets worse and/or the show is just boring without the pits or crowd surfing. I think people just need to realize that it's a dangerous environment and you could get hurt. But you could also get hurt driving, and everyone does it so yeah. People who mosh need to realize what they're doing and not be assholes, people who crowd surf definitely need to realize that they could easily be dropped (btw please do not crowd surf feet first that's how you kick people in the head. Crowd surf with your head to the stage if at all possible) and if you're small and fragile, either be with a bigger friend who will protect you or stay away from the pit.

A bunch of my friends knew the kid. He stage dove and nobody caught him, he hurt his head real bad, and due to the head injury passed away shortly after. Not sure if he made it out if the venue, haven't heard anything solid on that note. R.I.P Alberto.

People have to understand, that not everyone wants to be in the pit. I always see others trying to force people to get inside.

I recently went to a blessthefall concert and there was a guy beside me in the pit who started mutiple fights and constantly swinging his arms around and hitting me and pretty much leaning on me the whole show. There was no reason for it. I can understand the excitement but there absolutely no need to throw yourself around like that. There werent even any mosh pits in the moments this happened. I eventually had to leave the front row of the crowd because there was a girl in a wheelchair beside me and a dude violently hurting me on the other side. I think people should be aware of their surrounding before going ham in a crowd. He kept grabbing me and pushing me down so he could jump up and down. Then continued to get super close to my face and say "sorry" and shrug his shoulders. Its whatever I guess though.

Does Blessthefall have way too many jerk fans. My falling over was during their set at a ABR show. I've had guys and girls do somethings like what happened to you and they'd constantly "fake" apologize every time I looked at them and then keep on being an idiot.

In my opinion, if someone clearly doesn't want to mosh or stage dive, don't force them to. If someone is looking exhausted and/or hurt, you should help them get medical attention. Everyone needs to help others and make sure that we are all having fun at the end of the day.

I went to a Memphis May Fire concert in March in Philly and when The Word Alive was up he called out a guy in the crowd and called him an asshole because he hit his girlfriend and the dude got kicked out.

When I went to a BMTH and PTV show last year some douchebags started a moshpit and I was right in the middle of it. Luckily I had my two older brothers with me so they literally build a wall around me so nothing happened to me. But earlier this year I went to a ADTR show with a friend of mine without someone older and we didn't get into a moshpit because we stayed at the sides. If you don't wanna get involved into a moshpit or anything you just gotta stay at the sides. Make sure that you go early enough to the shows so you can also be at the very front of the sides and nothing will happen to you there. Just some things I've experienced at the concerts I've been to.

I think alcohol should be less of a part of concerts because most of the violent people I've encountered at concerts were drunk.

You're soo right. I'm 25 and have never drank (never ever want to). I've been to way too many concerts to count right now and never needed that to have a good time. The media portrays concerts as an event where you need to or should drink and (if able to) eat to have fun. Rhetorical question: Do you drink every time you enjoyed someone's music? So why at their concert do you need to? People need to think about this and maybe there will be less jerks at concerts.

I hate going in to the pits do to people not knowing what theyre doing. I usually stsy towards the front or try to be stage side. If youre going to stay near the stage keep your arms up and hands free. That way you can feel when a persons thats crowed surfing and not get hit. Put your phone, cameras, etc. away because youre there to enjoy the show not record it. Thats why we have wonderful people that record shows for us and/or take photos. Im kinda tired of seeing all of these electronics up in the air and not enough kids really paying attention to the bands that are playing.

In MY opinion, they shouldnt do anything about it because when venues ban people from stage diving and crowd surfing, and wall of deaths, etc, it just ruins all of the fun for the fans because this music scene is about the people that are outcasted by this shit world and when they pay for their tickets, they are paying for best 4 or so hours of their life to just release all of their stress and express themselves and yes it is dangerous and there are those assholes that run off of stages and stomp on peoples' heads (ive been stomped on before), but its just a simple douchebag and theres plenty more in the world and we deal with them anyways so i think we should just deal with it and move on. RIP to all of the people who died while expressing their trueself and not giving a single fuck and deserved a longer and stress free life

People in the pit need to realize there is no need to swing your arms around like a fucking helicopter. You're either going to hit somebody or knock yourself to the floor. It looks stupid and can only end badly so why do it?
