Because it’s not the point, the point of this video is to showcase less overused clips.

*Betty Wright:* Incredibly powerful (one of three pioneers) *Chante Moore:* Her stamina in the register is exceptional (an unsung legend) *Morisette:* One of the best of this generation when it comes to the whistle register. *Mariah Carey:* Not her best but definitely the Queen of the register. Popularized it like no other plus great control. *Ava Max:* It would be great if she used it more in live performances on stage. *Minnie Riperton:* The Pioneer of the whistle register in mainstream music. Her voice sounded so pure. *Ariana Grande* Glad she’s using it more live. One of those using it well in this generation probably after Morisette. *Me:* Well, you did that! Nice tone up there, went smoothly with the others showcased in this video. *Kesha:* Cool that she’s exploring more up there, doesn’t sound so healthy in terms of approach. *Demi:* Also cool that she’s using this part of her range more. It would be nice to see her put it in songs without it being in the background and sing them live on stage. *Tori Kelly:* She delivered that like the main character who was previously shy to show her vocal talent but took center stage at the last minute to reveal her immense talent to the world.

yeah, the excessive level. she uses that register about 30% of the time she is singing, and it's not pleasant to the ears. Only Mariah and Minnie are smart enough to use it minimally and let their natural singing voices shine.

Also I think I'm not hating or anything, even Mariah oversing (but I think only for once in 1990 and it's not in whistle tho). It's not wrong to say Mariah and Minne are superior when it's come to whisle, but saying they're the only good whistlers... 😂 Though, oversing is one of the worst things to do in singing and Chante is doing it so much.

The Queen on that register and Passagio will always be Mariah carey but Minnie Ripperton is also legendary 👑✌🏽 Chante slays in terms of control but Ariana and Morissette slays in terms of Musicality🔥

For me, it's. Mariah/Minnie for beauty. Betty for power. No hate to any of the others, as they all sound nice. But, those are just my preferences.

On a personal level it goes: Minnie Mariah Chante Betty Amon On a technical level I feel it’s: Mariah=Betty=Minnie Chante Amon Feel free to disagree with me though.
