Awesome video Brother! I like the way you edited it! And you can’t even tell that I accidentally put diesel in the Sawmill 😂 it sure was fun working with you and your Boys. I appreciate all the kind words!

That was a fun day! The boys enjoyed every minute of it, and we got exactly what we needed to build a great smokehouse!!!
Watch out for the poison vines on that oak. Even if it is dead for years, it will still put a world of hurt on you. Have a blessed day Michael!

Thanks for also sharing the lumber cutting video on your channel, even though i had already seen it on Jareds channel! Gave me an itch to get going on my own stack of ash and maple logs I have sitting here, just waiting till I get my turn on my business partner’s sawmill again. But I’m holding off on fetching it until I have some other less fun projects crossed off on my to do list. I can really identify with what Jared said at the end there, I can only imagine the luxury of sawmilling with that much help with the heavy work.

Amazing viewing. I just loved seeing those trees being saw milled. Impressive beautiful. Any microwave milling in the area? Logs are cooked in huge giant microwaves. Then they're pressed into square logs ,squeezing out all the water and bark comes off. They use the water for something else and the bark too. Then logs left to dry before being sawed milled. There's one in Maine .

but it's gonna warp like crazy if you try to build with it, fresh after sawing. It has to properly stick dry outside for a year, or else kiln dried. About the only thing you can build with after sawing that wont warp terribly is hemlock. That oak is gonna split and warp like crazy if you build with it now....... unless there's something to do to prevent that , that I'm not aware of.
