I really don't know what y'all are trying to say with that whole "he's an adult" argument. First of all: duh. Second of all: Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Aaron Carter - they were all adults and made bad decisions. But it's not their fault. Fame & Showbusiness can be really bad for your mental health (and the combination of Kpop + global fame leads to so much pressure and full schedules). I wish the BTS members would get some real vacation for at least a year, with no work, no cameras, no company and ideally no stalkers or paparazzi who take photos of them resulting in fans discussing online what the members are trying to keep private. If you think that it doesn't matter and it's none of people's business and they can do whatever is legal, well, then why did you click on this video? Why do you even care the slightest bit? For me it's a very triggering topic since I'm very aware of the longterm dangers (no. 1 preventable d**th cause in the world) and I know people who died in their 60's and 40's because of smoking. I guess, I just wanna be informed about the sad reality, so that I don't get surprised and hurt anymore. Sometimes it's really hard not to care.

@@nehalilisays I get how you feel. I am also disheartened that he chooses to smoke knowing the dangers to one's health and his most important tool, his voice. Most of the members of BTS smoke or vape. But, the "he's an adult" argument is because we as fans have no right to dictate what anybody (except our non-adult "children") can and cannot do with their life. As adults, they and we have the right to do anything we want that is legal. Smoking is legal in both countries. Even marijuana is legal in this country (many states). If celebrities we follow do something that we disagree with and it causes us grief or triggers us, then all we should do is stop supporting them with our time and hard earned dollars. On just the issue of smoking we can work with organizations to legally ban cigarettes and alcohol for that matter as both can be highly addictive substances. Your question about why people clicked on this video, it is human interest since the idol industry portrays the idols as perfect humans with no flaws or vices. We know that is not true. They smoke, drink, date, have sex, get married and many of them are closeted gay....but non of that is officially published and in other countries, no one cares. Again, if JK's actions or any celebrity you follow causes you to hurt, I say let them go.

This statistic needs to be corrected, Jungkook smokes 100% he uses cigarettes and vape too, BTS has 7 members so now 5 members are smoking openly. But I think it's normal, they have the right to use alcohol or cigarettes because they are adults. I just hope things don't go as far as using drugs 🚫💉💊. P/s: Anyway. It's good to have fun with limits, don't ruin your career or disappoint the Army.

Hobi also drinks alcohol even though his body can barely take it... Do you think it's gonna change JK's voice over time? I'm way more concerned about his mental health (and yes, physical and mental health are not opposites, they go hand in hand --> nutrition, blood flow, inflammation, gut-brain-connection) but I know that a lot of Armys like his "angelic" voice, so I thought maybe he would try to protect that voice as much as possible. Чимин вполне может курить сейчас, но у него реально никаких намеков. Сасены говорят, что не курит, на трансах/фото вейпы и сигары не замечены, даже на фото с боулинга курит один Тэмин,а Чимин рядом. Пока не доказано обратное, можно считать, что он некурящий. Ну или шифруется очень хорошо) Хотя не думаю, что он возмет баловство в привычку - для голоса вредно.

Only because of this, and people like this mentality that smokers hide about their cigarette habits, coz people like you will think that he's a bad boy or in that phase. You think people smoke to look cool?! Nahh, that's for teens and what you teens think. He is from the biggest group in the world, and you don't realise the work load they need to manage. They don't go overseas or to US to party and drink. They are sent by the management for some project or schedule. They barely have time for themselves, and as soon as they finish their work, they come back to Korea. They also need to handle stress. The only problem of smoking is its health problems. He was seen with a vape before and was recently seen with q cigarette...jimin and suga on the ither hand...suga was only seen once during the filming of haegum and that was q herbal cigarette (aka not a real one, but a non addicting prop cigarette used for filming) and I have never heard of Jimin As far as I know, the only ones that smoke are taehyung and Jungkook

I was able to quit before I hit a 10 yr mark of smoking. Not lying, stopping cold turkey is HARD!! But, food tasted better, home smelled fresher, and didn't have the worry I left a cig smoldering in an ashtray. Also, no longer wheezed when first waking up. Have you seen the price of a pack now?? EEK!

I think your comment just made my evening 😊 Seeing someone smoke for 20+ years and then they are suddenly gone can be so frustrating even if you are not close with that person. It always gives me some hope to hear about people who changed an unhealthy habit and feel better now :)

Yoongi smoked in the Haegum MV and Jimin once posted a selfie with Tae in which you could see an e-cigarette (I don't know if that is all the "proof" but it's enough to make assumptions & that's the only official content I know of, all those paparazzi or even stalker photos are problematic and shouldn't be spread around in my opinion). Apparently Tae & JK were at least once seen with a cigarette. People often start smoking because they copy their parents, friends or co-workers. So my very bold theory is this: Tae started smoking first many years ago, JK didn't like it (he begged his own father to stop smoking in 2014) but as open-minded as he is he wanted to understand the smokers in his life, so he tried it, too, found it helpful to calm his nerves (he's very sensitive & emotional) and got addicted to it. (If he was seen smoking in front of a restaurant it means he's not a casual, occasional smoker who only consumes nicotine on special occasion, like many people only eat cake on special occasions)

Him smoking was more meant as a statement that you cannot control their lives and that they are human just like us and aren't perfect. And also about how everything is blown out of proportions for a scandal

I am much disspointed after knowing the news of being caught jungkook smoking cigarette. No I don't hate him for doing that. Honestly it's their culture but i am truly sad to see the way they destroy their health a little by little. I am so against of drug and alcohol abuse etc. Nonetheless we shouldn't nag about this. This is hlw you ruin your health. They aren't babies now. They can do whatever they want. At some point,they'll slowly realise its bad side and will give to live more. Seeing how much jungkook consume alcohol on his lives truly worried me. The artists are stressed. Like sex and alcohols etc mosly use for this. If i was in that place,i'd heal myself with medication because i have a religion. But they don't have or either cathelics. I don't much know about this but i guess they pray everyday for mind's peace. I guess that's why they behaviour like this

JAEMIN from NCT doesn't smoke for what we know of! The video u may be thinking of wasn't him smoking, otherwise his outfit would've burnt. It was also cold, so he may have just been picking his nose or something and happened to be breathing with his mouth open in the cold.
