Her & "Blanche" were my favorites! Rest in Peace to all four! "Sophia, Dorothy, Blanche, & Rose!"
The Golden girls is timeless. Bea Arthur was my favorite, but Estelle Getty was hilarious too.

Totally agree, comedy staple of the 80s
It's a testament to what a talented actress Estelle Getty was that she was able to so convincingly play a woman in her 80s, even though she was only in her 60s when she was on The Golden Girls. She was actually a little bit younger than both Betty White and Bea Arthur, who played her daughter on the show. Sure, the effect was helped by the white wig and specialized make up, but it still took a lot skill as a performer to truly pull off the role of a woman more than twenty years older than her real age.
Loved golden girls.... sophia "picture it sicily 1939"..just had to love settle...✌️❤️🇺🇲

My great Auntie use to be a housekeeper for Peter Finch mum. My mum when she was little use to visit the house in London and she would sit on Peter Finch chair which use to have loads of scripts round it. Great video as always. 👍
Mel Blanc was a genius in being able to do all those cartoon voices. The story about Lana Clarkson was very sad and tragic. She was only 40 when she was murdered. If only she wouldn't have gone with Phil Spectre to his house.

It is Aug. 23, 2021 and I am just watching this video now. So someone might have posted about David White. But this is why he and his son are buried together. Sad story. Love your video's. In December, 1988, White's 33-year-old son, Jonathan, was killed in the terrorist bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, UK. White, who had been widowed soon after Jonathan's birth, was embittered and enraged by this new tragedy. He became reclusive for a time, but was returning to some social activity and theatre work when he died of a massive heart attack in 1990, just a few days prior to the second anniversary of his son's death. He was survived by his daughter.

Thanks for another great video with great content-Nostalgic favorite tv shows: The Golden Girls, Mama’s Family, Who’s The Boss, Three’s Company, Roseanne, Married with Children, Martin, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Living Single, Saved By The Bell and so many more! Those were some great times in television 📺.
I named my green wing macaw after Bugsey Siegel! He was supposed to be one of the people that started the Las Vegas Strip. I also loved the TV shows you liked.
Really interesting. I loved Get Smart. The cone of silence always cracked me up.
David White, the actor who played Larry Tate on Bewitched some terrible tragedies in his life. He was married to his first wife Mary for only 6 years when she died of complications from her second pregnancy. That child didn't survive. Their only surviving child Jonathan, who is interred in the columbarium with David, died at the age of 33, in the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie Scotland. David died of a heart attack less than 2 years after the death of his son.

Tragic. And his Son so good looking. I loved David as Tate on Bewitched
Don Adams was also the voice of Tennessee Tuxedo, part of the Bullwinkle cartoon family.
At the end of the Jack Nicholson film "About Schmidt", the character says after he is dead and everyone who ever knew him is also dead, it will be as if he never existed. Sobering truth.

Very interesting. One of those places you can't finish the tour, so to speak. Intriguing, really enjoyed this one. In death, we are all equal.
I loved watching Inspector Gadget when I was a kid. Me and my sister always made sure to sing along to the theme song whenever the show was coming on.
ALL LEGENDS IN THEIR TIME ...RIP TO ALL🙏📿
Chris Cornel will always be my favourite vocals. I just loved all his song.
The Golden girls was my favorite and my grandma I would always watch it . Oh god do I miss those days.
The lady who is interred next to Valentino is the reason he got the part in the four horsemen of the apocolypse. June Mathis is her name.
Haha! Yep “empty nest” came out on right after “Golden Girls”. I used to sit up late at my grandparents house while they played pinochle with my parents. Many a night I spent watching Golden girls on Saturday as a youngster.
So many childhood memories you brought back Lamont, thank you. Get smart, golden girls sooo many
My favorite was and still is Roseanne from the 90’s, not the new series. I related to that show so much. my family was almost identical lol loved the humor. it still makes me laugh now. I can watch it all day. the early seasons were the best.
I remember her from the eighties. Betty white was a trip she always talked about St. Olaf Minnesota 😭😭😭 she was my favorite golden girl back in the day she is so funny 🤙🏾
This is a very nice and interesting cemetery, thanks for showing it. I´m German and in my country, they didn`t showed all TV shows from the USA. But they showed Golden Girls, the only TV Show I loved and still love. I bought the DVD Sampler with all episodes, because they don`t show it on TV anymore. Estelle Getty, Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan and Betty White, they are icons. May they rest in Peace.
My Uncle🙌🏿Thanks for the trip down memory lane 🙏🏿
EXCELLENT WORK - loads of research doesn't go unnoticed much appreciated tho
I'm glad to know I'm not alone, Get Smart and Inspector Gadget were two of my favorite shows off all time. I loved Don coming out the phone booth, although a long intro(lol) to the show

I'm not sure I could list five favourites right now, but as a young child in the 80s, I remember loving the show "mama's family". I also have really great memories of watching golden girls with my grandma.
Don Adams was also the voice actor of Tennessee Tuxedo; Chumlee was his walrus sidekick (is that how Chumlee from Pawn Stars got his nickname?), if you remember the Mr. Peabody and Sherman cartoons from 1959-61 that also featured Rocky and Bullwinkle and Boris and Natasha; these were the older animated ones I loved watching as a kid

Chris Cornell the best!! I grew up on soundgarden. I don’t know if you have or haven’t bc I don’t know if he was cremated or not but if Scott Weiland has a grave, I’d love to see it or hear about if he was cremated. I was so fortunate to see STP perform here in ATL at big day out and my brother was lucky enough to see soundgraden at the Omni before it was demolished. Seems like we are loosing too many of the rock greats. For me, when Eddie Van Halen passed, I felt like my childhood died even tho they were a little before my time, my mom rocked out to them everytime we went somewhere.
Another excellent video Lamont. Getting better as you go along. Thank you for sharing. 💞

I have been to the cemetery so many times and I think the only graves I’ve ever seen our Rudolph Valentino, Darren McGavin, Jane Mansfield, Joey Ramone’s monument. My brother in my body is used to sneak in here at night time and run from security, they would never catch us. We were respectful but it was kind of funny walking down Santa Monica and then cutting down to Melrose and all reuniting safely from authority. If I had to say which one was my favorite cemetery it’s this one right here, because there’s so much life happening around it, you have studios everywhere right behind it you got paramount, they throw parties, bbqs, Movie nights, I can’t think of a more live cemetery like that of Hollywood Forever.
