The older Bettie Davis acted in movies, the more I love her. She acted her movie roles according to her years perfectly and enlivened all her movies. I prefer her matured roles than her early ones because she enlivened her dramatic roles that viewers must watch till the end. Thank you, madam, you're the best🙏❤️

Cassie, your comment on this movie was nearly everything I too was feeling. I'm commenting 11 months after you did in the midst of the ever mutation of a pandemic. This movie touched so many relevant topics, including racism, or rather the lack of it. Mixed marriages and fighting corruption by those whom wish to take from us with trickery and deceit. thank you again for your comment. It was heartwarming for me to read.

Although this is ultimately a feel good movie, it doesn’t shy away from exploring the difficulties of family rivalry, resentment, hurt, misunderstanding, mismatch and loneliness as well as the rewards of kinship. The older Bette Davis lost none of her tremendous powers as a star player as she matured, and she gives a commanding performance, dominating every scene with her famous screen presence, her huge expressive eyes and her authoritative delivery in that memorably enunciated perfect diction. The ensemble cast of many recognisable faces also delivers. A real treat and a real lesson in ethics and the old fashioned family values that we yearn for today.

How this teacher spoke and felt about books is me, all the way. Onto my third and final library building and no my stories and authors never do get dusty. 3 new movies from books: Disney took: Earagon: Inheritance Series a five book series. Christopher Paolini's heart felt work. Dragons. Also Justin Cronin trilogy the passage, the twelve & city of mirrors. Can't remember full name of trilogy but those are the names of the three books. also but never last is: brain fart can't remember but my mind does fade in & out. Getting it checked on 10/20 no worries.

Fantastic movie with great heart. Ms. Davis was a force of nature. Everything she touched was made better by her influence. Such personal power... she stole every scene she was ever in. (For what it's worth, the resemblance of David Rounds, who played Grover, to Martin Landau is uncanny. He was a really fine actor.) I have seen various TV movies starring Bette Davis-I have to say that this is my favorite: she is as usual, she leads with noble regality. The boy who helped her in the movie was in fact, her own grandson. It was very sad when Davis’s daughter wrote her scathing memoir and her grandson[s] never saw Davis after that, due to the estrangement that followed. I had heard that Davis was very helpful supportive of her grandson’s acting. I admired Davis’s acting and her fortitude in movies and in life.

As the other person stated, Bette passed away at age 81 - but she did smoke most of her life. Although she feuded with Joan Crawford, she really couldn't stand Faye Dunaway who played Joan in "Mommie Dearest". This was due to Faye's behavior in "The Disappearance of Aimee"; she'd hold up filming for hours for no truly valid reason per Bette - including once in a sweltering church which couldn't be air conditioned. Bette said that Faye's behavior then made Joan look like a professional in comparison; ironically, Joan considered Faye to be the actress in the 1970's whom she admired the most.

🗣Thanks again for uploading these great 👍 movies 🎥🍿 Another Great 👍 Movie”FAMILY REUNION”Simply great 👍 Actors and Actress👍At its core is feisty matriarch Elizabeth Winfield, a New England teacher recently retired after a fifty-year career. She uses an unlimited bus ticket received as a gift to visit the distant members of her long-estranged family. During her absence, her small hometown, which bears her family's name, falls prey to dishonest relatives colluding with corrupt shopping mall developers. She returns in an effort to halt construction on the project and, armed with the moral integrity she has instilled in her students for the past five decades, she manages to resolve the situation in time for the annual Founder's Day festivities. I’m truly a #1 Fan of Mrs. Betty Davis!!♥️This was truly the best Movie I saw in a While! A Truly beautiful movie for family! I am an immigrant from Africa. Escape because of politics. I am a citizen now. It breaks my heart how destructive the looking forward people are now to this icon of a country. I learnt to appreciate the classics thru TCM and taught my grandsons to appreciate some good ones like boys town staring Spencer tracy and Mikey Rodney. I watched that with my grandsons and when Mikey died they remembered him and they sheer tears 😢 😭 for him. My daughter and husband were very surprised. Family is all we have after our adventures. It is God's beautiful world and like ronald Regan said 🇺🇸 is the shining city (country/nation) up the hill. It is worth fighting for and I thank you all and those who have shared blood for it. My father fought the second world War for great Britain and great Britain abandoned my country to France and France destroyed everything. Please cherish this country and fight to keep it.
