I know it's so cute!

I'm glad you two are back home with friends and family. You seem so much happier. Kai is exploding developmentally, and it is exciting to see him struggle with the word for mad and sad and want when he is hitting things. He likes to move and it makes sense that he will hit when angry or frustrated rather than say something. You are such good verbal parents, that you do the labeling of the feeling or goal he is trying to express, and he responds so well to your insistence that he be gentle. This is so gratifying to watch, so heart warming. LOL on the baby wrangling after church. SO true. Audri is such a joy to watch, and the growth of your family is such a revelation. I just realized that this isn't something you get to see everyday. You grow up in a family, you have your own that you might not get the time to observe in this manner then you are distant from the grand kids, maybe never seeing this growth of your family in such a gradual way. Thank you for sharing.
