People making memes about a dead person are one of the LOWEST people in society... I pray so much for Rosalie and this poor family. She didn't deserve it, she was so beautiful and the bullies and their parents really need to be held accountable. Schools need to realize that colorful posters aren't going to stop cruel kids... I was bullied relentlessly from third grade until almost a year ago when I moved away. I was bullied by students, teachers, parents, bishops, and even a principal. At one point after being assaulted with scissors in two classrooms by multiple students, both teachers aware of it, we went to the principal. At this point, it was my second physical injury. The first was torn leg tissue after being pushed from a balance beam. I had witnessed a boy strangling another for cutting in line, and in third grade a girl was beaten so badly she was picked up in an ambulance and could not return that year. She was in a full body cast and wheelchair once she was healthy enough to be moved. The principals exact words to my parents was, "If it was my boys, I would just tell them to man up." I was a tiny, shy little girl who blended in with kindergartners at fifth grade. When we asked what would happen if I did "man up", we were told I would be expelled immediately. I was in a suicidal depression for years. Since then, that school district has had multiple assaults, including one by a principal, and an attempted murder. The school never reported the murder attempt, just like they did not report the one I witnessed. Bullying is serious. Whether it be physical, or verbal. Please, take it seriously and don't do it. You have no clue how many people it would impact. If I had gone through with suicide, my dad would likely have followed as he lost a child when she was a baby. My mom would likely have followed out of heartbreak. Your poorly thought out decision to bully one person could result in a catastrophic wave of death and pain.

Look up the Ki-Be school district murder attempt. It made headlines. The principal of the high school cut a girls necklace off but I can't seem to find the story, probably from the vague phrasing. I am aware of how fake it sounds, but that was just the kind of district it was.

I like how schools talk about how bullying is wrong and stuff but they literally do nothing to stop it. She would’ve been 16 today, but bullies are really making kids die too young it needs to be stopped.

@ andyng5321 Not just the school, but parents don’t know how to handle and discipline their kids anymore. So when teachers….who actually care, call them up with concerns, they look for any excuse to dismiss it and accuse those teachers and staff of “picking on their kid”.

I had I girl hit me from behind so I turned around and started hitting I grew up fighting brothers and older sisters they said it wasn't self defense because I did more damage that I should have just let her beat me up my mom told them they were retarded and left they tried expelling me the girl was bigger them my mom while I was only 95 lbs she was 15 I was 12 but because I did more damage they wanted me out. Schools are so messed up

Ally Of Anime There is 2 things you can blame and that's the school and the parents. Parents have to teach their kid to respect others while being professional. A kid could be a bully if his/her parents never teach him/her to be respectful or if they're fighting. The school can be blamed in cases like these where the they know the kid is getting bullied, yet don't do anything, therefore the bullied kid becomes a bully. Most of the time, It's one of those 2 and there's no denying that at all.

If you're talking about the bullies' parents then yeah you're right, but I was talking about the victim here (didn't make first comment clear enough, sorry) every kid (victim) is impacted at different levels, so even if the parents gave their best effort, it doesn't stop the child from committing suicide.

Some parents aren't to blame but peer pressure to be popular so they down the quiet kid. All types of bulling be it txts or emails or fcbk anything must be cracked down on it has to be .It's a time when parents and authorities must work together there must be consequences . It's getting way out of hand and so so heartbreaking to think children so young would rather die, in my days as at school it was punishable and a bully seemed to get picked out and dealt with quickly , but over the years they just do nuthing so kids get away with. It's evil and a wicked heart to produce those words.

Well said. Yes, schools play a role, but it takes a village and some parents want to be their kids' friends rather than a parent and disciplinarian. We can't have it both ways; blame teachers when they reprimand and not back them up. This is how we create bullies. They're empowered when their same parents disrespect the school, staff and rules in front them. If we worked as a village, good would win most of the time. Poor family. This is such a shame.

My husband and I were both bullied and we have two children both under 4yrs old. We will not punish our children for defending themselves. But if they’re the bullies (which they better not be) major consequences for them. We don’t mess with that stuff in our house. We hate bullies and kids who drive other kids to suicide should be put in prison for murder. How dare they make memes about that. I guarantee they’ll even paying for that later.

Home schooling is sadly, not the answer. We can only wrap our children up in cotton wool and keep the world from coming at them for so long but at some point the world is out there. And many home schooled children are active, actually more active on the internet then kids in public or private school, and if you have connection to the internet your kids will find their way to social media. School is not the only place that bullying takes place, nor on the internet, it even happens in Sunday School Classes, and in Malls and Playgrounds, and places we think are kids go to where they are safe and protected and just having fun. Bullying is multidimensional. We Need schools and teachers and school staff to be more aware of and more ready to step in when they see bullying or evidence of a child showing signs of having been bullied. There needs to not just be laws, but policies and practices in place to how we respond and that make us respond when any of this behavior is seen on either side. We certainly knows the laws about who has to report child abuse, but those same people that would not think twice about getting help if they thought for a minute a child was being abused tend to do nothing until its too later when bullying is the issue and how often we hear after something like this how many people suspected or even knew and reported it to know one, even kid who did not tell parents or teachers or someone that they knew someone was bullying someone or someone was being bullied. Often bullying can also have a generational factor. Parents of a child that is being bullied often are later found out to have been bullied themselves but found a way to push through it and survive and assume their child will too The bully is often found to have a family member that is a bully and may have even bullied the child that is now bullying. If this person happens to be a parent or both parents often we heard how school staff or teachers don't really want to deal with or cause too much trouble with the parents because they too are a bit afraid of how they will react or they have already has instances of aggressive behavior from them. And while we can form self-help groups and educational programs try to teach kids about bullying and the impact - many never see something like this as being the impact or actually are wanting this outcome but the problem is that the student that has learned to bully learned it long before they got to school and had any education that might prevent their behavior and the kids that don't have a great lot of self esteem or know how to stand up for themselves also did not develop that at a young enough age to have it really work for them now. For many years we tried copating child abuse with social service programs and education and please about how not to hurt your kids, and kids kept dying. Until we started putting laws in place that made reporting these things mandatory for people that worked with or treated children, and making them responsible too we did not start making any headway. We have laws now that make a parent legally responsible if a kid uses a weapon and attacks another, why are we not understanding that words and actions can be just as much of a weapon and if their child bullies someone they can be held responsible? And we need to make it a requirement that if you suspect a child is being bullied that the child being bullied is reported so they can be helped and if you know who the bully is they have to be reported too. And as concerned parents we can't just ask our kids how their day was, not any more, because their day may have been okay if they were not a target but we need to know more, such as how their friends days were or if any of their friends are being mean to others or if they are afraid of others. Most kids do know who the bullies are and are good at protecting themselves because they have this knowledge and stay out of the way, but they also know who the bullies target, an for the sakes of our community and all the kids in it we need to know this information from our kids. We need to know the social environment they are growing up in outside our front door. My kids have a rule that the minute there is any bullying on social media they need to leave the keyboard and come tell either me or their father so we can come see what is happening. And they know that we spot check and if we see it and they did not tell us we will want to know why. Because of this as they have gotten older they have gotten better and better at stopping it in their own way even before they come report what is going on. I keep assuring them its not their job to do that but I like that they have started feeling that they do have some responsibility towards protecting others. We are the adults and we can make the difference and we can make this stop, or at least start making a dent in it by our own actions and making children understand that this will not be accepted or tolerated behavior and making sure other adults know that they also need to control their children. We have to make the world a better place for our kids, at home, at school, anywhere because we cannot keep them locked up at home with not contract with the outside world or they will be even less prepared to handle things then they are now. If you want to homeschool and can, that is wonderful, but don't count on that protecting your child enough. You have to get involved in making the world safer for all children or yours too could get hurt.

I almost wish someone would reveal the identities of these bullies so they are held accountable. If there is a lawsuit the school pays up but the bullies go scotfree and continue the bullying patterns. These bullies are not kids - they are disgusting BULLIES.

This word has destroyed countless lives, I've been through it all my life in school and now as an adult, even with family members and I'm damn tired of it. I fought back a few times, people always play the victim when I fight back, which is silly and a complete waste of time.
