Country gravy is super easy and quick to make from scratch. You more than likely have everything you need at home. We are starting to pick states to try new foods from.

Tajin is good on any cut fruit...mango, watermelon, cantaloupe, any melon, pineapple. Tip: grill the watermelon and pineapple first then season with the Tajin. It's so good. Actually it's good on any grilled fruit but pineapple and watermelon are my favorite.

Country gravy is really easy to make from scratch if you want.

So many things I’ve been meaning to mention. First and foremost about your chickens, I noticed that you save them bread scraps but not the Apple scraps. My chickens love apples. I also save eggshells for them. I Rinse them out quickly let them dry then crush them up. The chickens will use them that way, but I can also use them in my garden for slug and other pests. The chickens will actually eat grapes going soft, blueberries, pasta, meat, leftover eggs, etc so you may want to keep a bucket, bowl or small bin to toss into as you cook. It could really add variety for them and potentially decrease your trash quite a bit. Now, about the sandwich bread. What you purchase is bread for sandwiches, which deems it “sandwich bread”, but...Sandwich bread is actually something different. It’s bread that is baked into a square loaf instead of with the Roundy humped top like your bread. It’s made that way so that the crusts cut off easily for fancy sandwiches. Call it whatever you want, who really cares? Not me. - I just think someone was telling you it wasn’t called sandwich bread & I wanted you to understand why. Thanks for all the entertainment and ideas. Keep it coming.

Broccoli casserole in the south: Broccoli, mayo, cheddar cheese, eggs, cream of mushroom soup. Stir it all together bake. You kids will love it. Then the south has broccoli salad: fresh broccoli, carrot match sticks, raisons, red onion. Ans slaw dressing wet as you want it.

Alicia, once you see how amazing Tajin is, you'll want a bigger bottle of it. Pretty addictive seasoning, but delicious, especially the one with Lime.😋

I love dashes new glasses! Tajin i am going to search for it in the Netherlands because our biggest supermarkt doesnt have it! Tonight my groceries will be delivered, for me that is a big haul. But it is mostly for my girls birthdaypatry on august 5, so 2 days before Harleys!!

Hi Dougherty Dozen! I’m a long time fan- and I saw you buying the corn in this video that isn’t husked. Alicia, you wondered out loud to yourself, “is it called husking my own corn”? And it brought back a memory from my own childhood - and a hot tip! We called it husking to pull the green part off. And the adults did that part when I was a kid. Then they’d put the corn into bins of water and hand them over to the kids for “silking” - Aka pulling the silks out. If you have any soft baby brushes or baby DOLL brushes, that’s the best way. . Your kids might enjoy removing the silks with their baby brushes (I did! The key is soft soft bristles). Just show them to “brush the corn long ways” and use the water in the bin to help rinse as they go. It’s pretty “country”, but I swear it works! Thanks for the great content 💜💙❤️!

Idk kids hankerings probably change every so often. I get that too, some weeks I want a certain food and then the next week I refuse to touch that food Also maybe consider growing some green onions. Save the bulbs and plant them in soil. I’ve started growing them like a month ago and it’s low maintenance. And the green onions are doing perfectly fine!

Those Nora seaweed snacks! A staple in my snack drawer in my bedroom. I bet Zoey will enjoy them! The spicy one are the most flavorful and the crispy ones. We got one wegmans here in NYC..but its like an hr drive or more,…maybe one day.

To add fuel to the fire - a bunch of bananas is called a hand and each banana is called a finger....🙂

If you put the bananas upside down, they wont go brown so fast and they wont have the little "bruises" that they get in the back
