This was brilliant. Ten years ago I was in NYC and we went into the Julliard bookshop. That was as far as we got!! Pearl, you are super talented and the viola is such a beautiful instrument with a rich and mature sound. You complement it beautifully. Thank you for taking us with you, for me who was a music teacher, it was super interesting. And thank you to your friends for saying Hi too!

Amazing, so much walking around from class to class reminds me when I was studying teaching…not music though kindergarten teaching! The discipline from your girls shows how much they enjoy what that are doing. The dorm room is tiny, no wonder Pearl wants to go home as often as she can ❤🥰🇦🇺

Both Pearl and Josiah are wonderful examples to their younger siblings! The little ones get to see and experience first hand, how hard work and dedication can also earn them a spot at a prestigious music college. Please showcase Pearl’s sewing creations and any school projects that the kids excel in. Yesterday, I saw a cool T-shirt that read “Here Comes Treble 🎼!” And I thought it would look cute on Moses, but it didn’t come in his size.

Pearl I loved the tour at Juilliard People are nice. But liked when Pearl practice by her self you can tell how good of a violinist she is. Good luck in your studies Pearl such a lovely sweet Girl. What a fun video. Looks like Pearl has some nice friends/ classmates. I would have loved to have been able to stay in one building for all my classes. Some days it wasn't fun trekking all over campus in snow and rain at the University of Kansas. The campus is on a hill, so lots of long steps to climb. Thanks for sharing.

Pearl is such a sweet soul omg This makes me miss university! I didn't understand a single thing from those lectures in the video LOL The musically inclined amaze me!!

Loved this vlog! It was so nice and motivating to see behind the scenes of some of the most artistic, musical, and talented kids in the US 😊 I'm sure a few students had an "in" because of who their parents are but there is no doubt that Pearl deserves to be there. I loved seeing how she interacts with her peers as well. Such a sweet, mature, and driven young woman. Good job, mom!

Very interesting! The teacher that request you to put your phones on the piano for that class is very smart! Your daughter is beautiful and such a sweet, sweet spirit. Your daughter did a great job doing this video. Y’all must have very strong legs and body some all the walking in climbing stairs that you do I would not do well in New York.

Agreed. They are usually a little tight on cash so it's possible they already know and haven't been able to afford it unfortunately, which will be terrible for he in adulthood.

It was so nice to see a vlog of a day in Julliard with Pearl! I wish I could go there, but I suppose you can't do everything in life. I'm taking flight lessons, apart from violin...one thing at a time... I also hope to start cello this summer. I play in a orchestra too. We have our concert next week. Looking forward to it. It's absolutely awesome! Wish I could play with others more regularly like Pearl does in Julliard.

@@TheHappyCaravan Yeah I joined back after almost a year. I had a finger injury on a saw and lost the top part of my index finger in surgery on my left hand. But thank God I can play, after a lot of determination. When I joined again, I was put as leader of the orchestra, a position that I never had. Feel so blessed and humbled at the same time. And your family inspired me to continue on playing after the accident. I would have probably never played again if it wasn't for your family and for God blessing me! 😊🙏❤🎻🎻

If you love music, you’ll be happy……it exudes happiness…… I believe musicians to be the happiest people in the world…..I’m happy when I’m singing….this family reminds me of the Kanneh Masons in England… so talented and industrious….. Hi! It's so interesting watching this video! I am not a musician, but took music history class this semester at the university and enjoyed learning about music so much! I have a question - how did you teach your kids how to prepare for exams and how not to be stressed out since they have homeschooling? Pearl is all smiley and relaxed and her skin is flawless❤

Thank you! I think tests are always a little nerve wracking. We did take some tests in homeschool too. But also the kids often participated in music competitions which are also really intense because like a test you have to have everything memorized, but it’s also sort of like a spelling bee because you are on stage.
