    Foods from convenience store were life saver when I traveled in Japan. Easy to buy, inexpensive and deeeelicious. my most favorite is yakiniku beef bento. But next time I will try not to get many food from convenience store but eat from your recommended restaurants instread.

    Thank you for watching our video! Food at Japanese convenience stores is getting better and better, so it's hard to know what to buy. By the way, I also like yakiniku bento, so I always choose that :-)

    Hi Samurai Junjiro, would you be able to introduce to us some more sushi and sashimi restaurants that are not conveyor belt ones? We love the conveyor belt videos, they seem super cool but also curious about more high end sushi and sashimi :) thank you for the videos!

    Hi! Thank you for watching our video! We've never been to a high end sushi and sashimi place so we don't know much about those places.. but if we find a good place we'll make a video. By the way, the sushi izakaya run by Sushiro was cheap and good. This izakaya does not have a conveyor belt :) Video→ kzread.info/dash/bejne/moGjurFpacWXmsY.html

    Can we consume this takeaway foods while on Shinkansen? Although there food and stuffs available at the stations and while on the train ride, we were wondering if we can bring and eat an outside food particularly the ready to eat meals.

    You can eat food bought at a convenience store in the Shinkansen. However, it is better to choose food that does not have a strong smell :)

    Great videos, hello from Brazil. I'm going to Tokyo and my hotel has a Family Mart across the street. Is it easy for non-Japanese language to heat up in microwave store and ask for plastic cutlery ? Are there any sandwiches ? Thanks !

  • @samurai_junjiro

    @samurai_junjiro

    Жыл бұрын

    Hi! Thank you for watching our video! Basically in Japanese convenience stores, when you buy a bento, the clerk will ask you if you want to heat it up. If they don't ask you, you say in Japanese, "Atatamete kudasai". They will not give you a spoon or fork unless you ask for one. In that case, you say "spoon (or fork) kudasai" in Japanese. However, Family Mart has started charging for plastic forks this year. Instead, you can get chopsticks. By the way, they also sell various kinds of sandwiches! If you have any other questions, feel free to comment again :)

    Hola! Me he hecho muy fan de tu canal 🥹 Como idea podrías enseñar el restaurante ts tantan? Me interesaría saber sobre restaurantes vegetarianos, veganos o en los que no utilizasen cerdo en sus comidas (ni en los caldos) ya que mi pareja y yo somos intolerantes a esa carne. Muchas gracias! Y espero que sigan subiendo los subs de este canal. Saludos desde España! 💞👍
