Oh man a tragedy like that usually pulls a family apart and you said “no! We’re going to be closer and live a life we want” very inspiring and I am sorry for your loss 😭

Omg I was totally taken back by that story of their loss. I think of my own boys and that makes me want to cry. Absolutely beautiful family to get through that all, stay strong and come through on the other side with an appreciation for life. I'm sure their son would be so proud.

Nice bus for the humans. I have a 85 lb standard poodle too and 5x3 cage is definitely not large enough for 4 standard poodles! My dog would take up the entire space. And I doubt it’s for the dogs “safety” while traveling as they do not even have seat belts for the kids and adults or at least they did not show them. I hope the dogs are allowed to run and hike and get as much “exercise” as the rest of the family. Otherwise if they cannot give the dogs space and exercise that they need, they should consider re-homing them.

I've watched hundreds of and am doing extensive research on types of skoolies, tiny house living, layouts, design, renovations, etc. and this literally blew my mind!!! Saying "what" and "how" repeatedly. I have no idea how this worked (the parents bed plus a desk plus a good amount of closet space, plus a washer/dryer combo, plus two couches, and a kitchen set up with usable counter space). Amazing!

It’s always the adults that struggle with comfort zones. Really great build out! Have you thought of switching to composting? I suppose with s big family a composter could present some problems but there are so many different types out there you may be surprised. If people call you crazy ignore them.If this is madness I would embrace it. I can assure you that the time you are investing with your children now will pay you huge dividends later in life. Your are raising children to be well rounded human beings who will be confident and you will all have mutual respect, plus lots of love. We were lucky enough to find it. BTW our children are now in their fifties and we are still going strong.

Right. I thought she seemed familiar. If I remember correctly she was getting raked over the coals in the comment section about coming off as all about me, me, me. I guess it made a difference because this is definitely a different presentation, including full disclosure about the loss of their son inspiring this lifestyle.
