It's not just black people that get the talk about what to do when you get pulled over by the cops .... I was born in the mid sixties, my day gave my brother and I that talk and I gave my kids that talk .

Yeah my dad told me as early as I could understand what to do & not to do around cops if I wanted to stay alive. Regardless of race, do some dumb shit w the cops & it’s possible you get shot. Matter of fact do some dumb shit w anybody & it’s possible you get shot. If you keep that fact in mind when addressing ppl you don’t know, life’s pretty easy. Feel like I’ve noticed it helps me & my white friends aren’t too worried ab the cops unless we’re breaking the law, which we don’t. So we’re not really nervous & therefore, any interaction we have w cops, may not be pleasant but usually goes smoothly. A lotta my black friends start freaking out for no reason or their car reeks of bud or their plates are expired, or they’re just scared of cops & then combine in being black & things can go less smoothly, very quickly. Not all my black friends but a lot of them are like that & then a few that are cool w cops, don’t break the law & are chilling Not to mention, when I interact w the cops, I don’t boot lick by any means but obviously do everything they always tell you, don’t make sudden moves, keep your hands readily visible, turn the car off, etc etc etc. but I’m only referring to the cop as “officer” apparently that strokes their ego & shows respect, only yes / no ma’am /sir, eye contact, respect, try not to lie or make excuses & make sure you don’t get caught if you do, etc. just all kinds of little things to basically make the cop feel like they’re in 100000% control & it was an honest mistake, im an upstanding citizen who has nothing to hide & am telling them to stay safe & have a good night. Crack a well timed good joke if you can, if the cop feels like your on their side & your not the enemy it makes a worlds difference (like it or not, hate the game not the player)

I have always told my sons and daughter the same if they get pulled over by police, and they are as pale white as a person can get. Fact is police have to be on edge and overcautious because they are at risk of dying at every car stop and at every call. All should handle a stop that way, showing no hidden hands or quick moves, as that keeps all safer, them and police.

How was Peter Pan racist? The indians were his allies and friends. Yea, it caricatured them, thats what cartoons do, but it didnt depict them in a negative light or paint them as less valuable. Peter clearly value them as much as anyone else, even risks his life to save Tigerlily. Racism is malicious in nature. All this oversensitive bs about "micro aggressions" and "Unconscious bias" is bs. Not saying caricatures cant be racist but they clearly wasnt in Peter Pan. Unless literally every depiction of a minority that doesnt act exactly like everyone else is also racism... But if thats the case literally EVERYTHING is racist and the word is completely redundant.

I like you two, but you pause too often. The interrupting, kills the comedy.
