Family Friendly Pontiac G6 GT

I restored this Pontiac and tried to sell it on @Cars & Bids but it was rejected! It's ok, they were nice about it.
In this video today, I try to make the case for why this G6 GT Convertible was worthy of being considered by going through some history of Pontiac, a walk-around of the interior and exterior, and going on a drive with the top up and down.
Pontiac was on it's way out when this was produced in 2009. Even though it has a 227-ish HP V6 and is the "GT" trim, it is not sporty whatsoever. The best part about this vehicle by far is the retractible hardtop and the interior spacing. It's surprising how slow this feels, and how much body roll there is, but the flip side of this is my entire family, including two car seats, sat comfortably inside on some slow cruises around town.
Overall, if you're looking for an extremely comfortable car that you can periodically, put the top down for cruising around town, these are very inexpensive ($3000-$4000 for good examples) and decently common in most part of the US.

I always like the idea of this car… affordable alternative and stylish. We have the Pontiac Solstice’s brother the Saturn Sky and we love it!
I miss the G8 line the most, the solstice GXP was also really cool.

I just bought one of these for $1,850 😂 80,000mi with all maint records and still looks like a new car. Figure its a good spare car since my daughters are the great destroyers of vehicles..Always good to have one witing for the next big crash (thats always someone else's fault) 🧐

Speaking of crash, somebody hit this while it was parked, so it’s no longer with us.😒
there is something terribly wrong with that car. My 2009 sedan witch is probably heavier than that has the 3.5 v6 and mine is not even close to as slow as yours. Mines pretty quick actually.

@@BadIdeasGaragemy car came from the Junkyard. Someone junked it for a bad transmission. Put a new transmission in it and it’s been bulletproof. Been driving it for almost a year now
