Rancho Xotolar is a family-operated “working ranch” that has been in the Morin Ruiz family for over four generations. Our family took an all-day tour and horseback ride through its rustic canyons just an hour outside of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. We enjoyed milking cows, making cheese, riding horses, and making scratch tacos over an open fire with fresh-harvested cactus (prickly pear), potatoes, rancho cheese (made earlier), beans, and homemade blue corn tortillas.

Guys! You've done it again. Brooklyn did so well for being her first time 👍, you all did look like real cowboys and cowgirls (Vaqueros/as) 😉. Great job with the material.

You allowed your children to ride horses in improper clothing, sandals and with no helmets. As someone who has spent months recovering from a horseback riding accident locally, and as s lifetime rider, this literally makes me sick to my stomach. You obviously love your children - I hope your never, ever endanger them, and yourselves like this again. Never wear shorts to ride a horse, never wear short sleeved shirts, you must always wear boots and helmets.
