Just a tip: before netting a fish which won’t be released, keep the net IN the boat, one hand on the handle the other gathering the blouse of the net, until the fish is ready to be netted. Waving the net around, taking swipes at the fish before it’s ready just make landing and the possibility of losing it more likely. Also if the fish IS going to be released there is no reason to net it, removing it’s slime layer and scale damage, pull the fish along side, get your photos and hoots & hollers, release it by pulling the hook with pliers without having to remove it from the water & handling it, which is very harmful to their equilibrium, swim bladder and damage to the lateral line. Please remember you are responsible for the salmon & steelhead’s existence, they need every bit of help we can give them. Great video! Nothing better than to see seniors, like myself, fishing with the grandkids!❤

We use a lot of lumix cameras. GH5 GH6. We actually mix a fair amount of GoPro footage in as well.
