Wow this is much better than bunching up 10-13 individual bags and putting them in a sauce pan of hot water over the stove! I guess its the way grandma did it so we just kept doing that way. Will but these the next time I get my Lipton. From our family to yours- Thanks Lipton :)

My favorite way is to take the tea out of the bag and fill an ice cube tray halfway with the tea and the rest with water and then freeze it and then put it into the water and when it melts I get a wonderful taste

Also does anyone use the powder instead of the bag? Because it's the same process I can only buy the powder where I live but my friend shipped me some tea bags (because that's the only one she can but where she lives) and they are both so good. Remember to stir the tea with water

I will do it today. I went to Australia or Thailand has already Lipton ice tea bottles. It tasted really good! I live in North America so I can make Lipton Ice Tea and I don’t have to go somewhere on vacation.

@headchopper100 I used to squeeze the bags, until I discovered that squeezing them would make the tea bitter. Just my 2 cents.

There seems to be two factions among tea drinkers, the bag squeezers and the non-bag squeezers. They can't be in the same room together.

Laptop is my fav Ice tea i drink it every day like im not lieing every day!

I thought if you added COLD into your HOT blended tea--it will turn cloudy. I don't like cloudy tea.

you should try chilled two-minute noodle juice (with ice, sugar and lemon juice) Mmm Ahhh its delicious :P

So she makes regular tea measures out ice cubes pours it into hot tea and sugar then melted ice that makes it watery them pours it in a cup of ice OK

Hi Yahmina! Suzanne adds 4 cups of hot water followed by 6 cups of ice cubes to make a quick chilled pitcher of Lipton Family Brew!

You should not squeeze your tea bag, because it will release a lot of Tannin. Tannin make tea bitter and causes indigestion.

If it's super hot yes. But also, when glass is already super hot, and you put cold water in it, it will break. Vise versa as well. Next time use a plastic pitcher ❣️

For one, she doesn’t know how to make ice tea, the recipe in this video is hire you make a hot tea then run it with ice plus you’ll need more than two tablespoons of sugar for a half gallon of tea.

When she was adding the ice she was going fast and she looked scared 👀 👄

I think it might have been the "family pack" bags. I've bought two, one from Lipton and one from 360 brand. They both came out tasting like tap water, no tea flavor at all. Its better to just use the regular individual bags to make a concentrate. Then just add cold water and some ice. :) Tasted a lot better.

That’s not the way most ice-tea drinkers make ice tea, that’s how you make regular weak hot tea and she ruined it with the ice. Here’s my recipe and I’ve had no complaints since using it the last forty years. Using three family size teabags, bring two quarts of water to a boil, takes about twelve minutes in a microwave. Pour into a one gallon pitcher, add 1.5 - 2-cups sugar and stir until dissolved. Using the same teabags, boil two more quarts of water and add to pitcher. Do not squeeze teabags unless you enjoy bitter tasting tea plus you only get about a tablespoon of tea from those squeezings so it’s not worth it. Then add a pinch of baking soda to get rid of any remaining bitterness. Then thoroughly mix by pouring from one one gallon pitcher to another ten times. Set on counter on a baking rack to cool before putting in refrigerator. You can adjust taste by adding or lowering the teabags, so far I’ve found nine of the family size teabags to be very flavorful but not bitter as long as you add the baking soda; you can’t even taste the baking soda but it does neutralize the bitterness. If using the microwave method then I suggest you wait about 15-20 minutes before putting cold water in your Pyrex or other brand measuring cup because it will shatter going quickly from one extreme to another as my mother found out years ago when her two quart Pyrex measuring cup shattered on her when she was making tea one day.

Just follow the instructions. 1st I either use 2 160z bottled water or with the same 1 gallon pitcher use the 1 quarts measurements, into an electric or stove Kettle, add the 1 gallon tea bag, boil for 3 to 5 minutes, then pour it into the 1 gallon empty pitcher, 2 cups of sugar and 2 single serve packets of True Lemon, stir and put inside fridge. Enjoy everyday.

Gotta boil that water with the sugar already in it, that's the only southern way. Just sayin✌😎

I thought if you put ice cubes in HOT tea it made the tea cloudy. Cloudy tea is gross looking. I like mine clear--yours looks clear.
