Released in 1998 as Family Bowling for the Playstation, this bowling game features manga-style characters (Kazuhiko seen here) and gameplay similar to Ten Pin Alley in the west. There is a chibi animation of your character that reacts to your throws. This was one of the first bowling video games I had played although I remember it being difficult to even throw the ball. It's a decent pick up and play game, although the physics are not very good. Here I bowled a 211, though it is still difficult to get a strike. There's a strange if not creepy image if you bowl a 200 game.
Sorry the quality isn't that good - it seems the rendering engine of the EPSXE emulator doesn't work well with the video. I couldn't get the background of the bowling alley to appear using Pete's OpenGL and DirectX plugins, so I'm using the GPU Core 2.0.0 plugin.
