I adopt puppies, because I love training, and if you get a senior they are already trained or don’t want to learn and just wanna sleep and also I run with my dogs and you can’t run with a senior dog

i got my mutt at a gas station so i had no option..lol. I did rescue her from a guy that was being a total ahole. she was almost 9 weeks old. got her out of a bad situation.

That adoption went fantastic! The family picked the right dog for their lifestyle.

I agree. Cloud is a stunningly gorgeous dog, but she wasn't the right match for this family. She was a bit too exuberant. Silver was the PERFECT choice for this family. Notice, unlike with Cloud, where Cloud practically bounced on top of Diesel to greet him, this time, notice, it was Diesel who approached Silver first to greet her. And while Silver does have a playful and silly side, she recognized the boy was a bit shy and unsure and she calmly approached him and showed him her back for a back scratch...she didn't jump on him or rush at him...but let the child get comfortable with her on his terms and in a way that wasn't invading his space. She behaved perfectly during the introduction and she found a good home. And even when Earl brought beautiful Silver to her new home, it was still Diesel who wanted to be with Silver. I think he has a little crush on this beautiful girl. I'm glad she's found such a loving home after all she's been through in her life.

I’ve watched this show for years. Absolutely love this organization. I only wish they had seasons of follow ups. Like going back to adopters to see the dogs again after they’ve been in the home for a couple of years.

I love older dogs. They have their own special kind of beauty and cuteness.

So sad that she was in a home for years, and her owner had to let her go😢. 100% sure it was very hard. But they did the best thing, making sure she was safe. So glad shes now got a 2nd chance in a loving home for her twilight years❤

So hartwarming how this family came to make another dog happy. Hartwarming. I just read that dogs that have K9 companions to live with, are more healthy and happy, so these two dogs are very lucky !!

Cloud is my kind of dog. I have a husky mix that is 9. She's relaxed, but has a hyper streak still. My fur baby is my walking and snuggling buddy.

Silver is the spitting image of my buddy boy Zeus, although Zeus is a brindle Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Silver is beautiful and deserves the love and happiness these wonderful people have.

adopting an older dog is beautiful, but adopting one when you have a young child is a whole other thing. you have to explain as simply as you can that this dog might not be around long. even so, the children tend to be the most loving of these dogs ❤

We share our home w a 19 yo girl since she was 10 weeks old. She’s quite deaf now. Yet she still prances around outside w our 9 you boxer/pitt mix.

GREAT FAMILY WITH BRAINS TO PICK A DOG THAT SUITS THE CONDITIONS +SUROUNDINGS THEY CAN GIVE IT. THERE R STUPID PEOPLE WHO WANT A CERTAIN BREED OF DOG FOR THE WRONG REASONS FOR EXAMPLE A FRIEND HAS A DOG OF THAT BREED SO THEY FOR IN LOVE WITH IT BUT DON'T MAKE A SORT OF MENTAL LIST/WRITE A LIST WHAT THEY WANT IN A DOG CHILDFRIENDLY, ADAPTS EASILY WITH OTHER PETS ETC ,GUARD DOG/ HUNTING DOG.

You missed a step. Weren't you supposed to check out the backyard to make sure it was fenced in????

They say they want a calm dog so they bring out a hyper cloud. Not the dogs fault but why not go with what the potential adopters want

You dont let kids decide anything!! Hes not going to take care of the dog you are!!Single mothers are somthing else!!

According to Time, pit bulls make up only 6% of the dog population, but they’re responsible for 68% of dog attacks and 52% of dog-related deaths since 1982. I feel like you shouldn't have a pit bull if your kid is under 15. Animals play, sometimes they get rough. What happens when you turn your back for a second and your 4 year old starts yanking it's tail, or maybe even just steps on it by accident. I also think muzzles in public would be good, because those things are strong and can easily slip away.

Staffie and American Bulldogs are responsible for most of your statistics, but given most people can’t tell the difference between one bully breed from another, they’re always mistaken for pit bulls. My guess is you have the same dim eyes.
