Still happy I came across this video, and FantomenK in general!

His first sentence is "I miss you, even if you are standing right in front of me"

My dude found these guys in an old snowboarding video. He tragically passed away years ago and everytime I listen to these guys it reminds me of him.

This song... Its legen-dary, this band is who every other band in the world wish they were. Each and every song theese guys pull out gives me different chills. Familjen is what feelings sound like.

I'm American and I don't understand most of the lyrics, but I like the music, and this guy's voice is amazing. I have to translate all the lyrics, but this is now my favorite artist!

Love this song!!!! Started to listen to this song in August/September 2015. The fact it's in Swedish is a major win for me, even if i can hardly understand a word!! Great song! One of my favs. Heard it on the radio and realised I've completely forgot about this song. Wanted to comment on a comment about the meaning of gold in the video, but can't find it right now so I'll just write here. - I don't think it's about greed. Gold symbolises a pure soul, someone that's been through it all. Alchemy speaks about turning different kinds of metals into gold. But it's just a metaphor for turning your SOUL into gold. Man in video is enlightened and knows the truth about everything. He rises from the water, references to being reborn/baptised/stepping out of your inner conflicts (water can symbolise feelings in dreams). That's why the people at the party get so upset when he shows up. He's their conscience or inner voice. Looks like he's questioning the old man, maybe it's his father. After that everyone becomes mad. The woman that tears the wallpaper finds golden wallpaper/something underneath. It's a metaphor for digging deep and finding out things about yourself. Digging even deeper, through traumas and sadness and death means she finds her true inner being, behind all the lies and personas we use. That's what the gold stands for - your true self. Some other character pulls her fake nails off and the ones underneath are golden or yellow. It's interesting that the old man doesn't seem to handle the confrontation from guy in golden very good, instead he starts demolishing the house. A house in dream interpretation signifies your personality and all parts of it, known and unknown. Maybe he realises what's happening, after being confronted he realises he's been living a lie... or he just panics. Or both lol

this is a hidden gem, I like this song thank you and blessings!!!!! :)

Thing is, it's just better when scandinavian artists stick with what they know best. Couldn't imagine Familjen in english would be any better than it is now... which is awesome.

Riktigt bra låt! Jag tycker också som många andra (verkar det som) att detta är Familjens bästa låt! Riktigt snygg video dessutom! En av dom snyggaste svenska videorna jag sett på länge.

I honestly love the way Swedish sound, it's much better than any of the romance languages.
