Falsely Imprisoned For Child Molestation - To The Brink Of Suicide | Greg Kelley & Zeke Pike (EP. 1)

Greg Kelley & Zeke Pike both share their stories in the pilot episode of The Get Back.
At the age of 18, Greg Kelley was falsely convicted of a horrific crime that he didn't commit, and sentenced to 25-99 years in prison. As seen on the Emmy Award Winning documentary 'Outcry' - the story of how Greg was exonerated from prison and the corruption within the Texas justice system is shocking.
Zeke Pike is a former 5 Star QB recruit, and was projected going into college at Auburn to be a 1st round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. After self sabotaging his career through drugs and alcohol, Zeke was kicked out of every football program that gave him a chance. One night, Zeke decided that he would take his own life.
Both of these testimonies are beautiful comeback stories, and evidence that God can lift you out of tremendous pain and place you on a path of purpose.

I've watched Greg's story from the beginning on the local news. I am so happy to see you both doing so well and free from the demons that had you. The low points you both experienced were starting lines to your new paths to glory. Now married, men of God, Greg soon to be a dad. God is good. Keep the faith guys. Never give up.

Greg, what a strong man of God you are. A testament to your upbringing. I never heard your story, but found your pod cast 2 days ago. I watched the episode with the young man who lost his precious young wife. What a great man of God he is as well. Its such a blessing to find a good podcast that is Godly and I love it. I decided to watch the episode with your wife. I got a few mins inon my way home last night, and heard about your documentary. I stopped the podcast to look up the documentary. I felt I needed to watch it first. Stayed up until 2am this morning to finish it. Wow, the amount of times I cried for you, your precious mama, your wife. I live in Burleson, right outside Ft Worth. My husband is a retired police officer from Ft Worth. I spent 9 years as a child in SE Okla, my uncle was kidnapped and murdered in the 70's, due to corruption in the sheriff's office. I kept saying last night I truly thought I would never see such corruption in TX as I grew up seeing in Okla. I was talking to my phone while watching the documentary. I told my husband on episde 2, you have got to watch this! He said move it to the TV, I said sorry, but I have to watch to the end, then I can rewatch with you. But you will not believe the level of corruption I'm watching. At one point I said if I ever need a lawyer, I need you to look up this man, your 2nd attorney was phenomenal! He is someone I would definitely want on my side. Sorry this was so long, I just want you to know you are such an inspiration, you never lost your faith in God, you very easily could have went to the dark side being locked up in TDC. May God continue to bless you and your family abundantly.

I am so happy for you Greg. I have a friend who was wrongly convicted and given an 82 yr sentence. He was exonerated when the real murderer came forward, but the Commonwealth Attorney appealed it and they re-instated his sentence. He was sentence when he was 20. He in now 49. Check out the documentary, Target of Opportunity (Dusty Turner- Navy SEAL Trainee) by JD Leete. It's a crime what the State of VA has done to him.

You guys are absolutely inspiring. I have been in recovery for 5+ years now, and can relate so much to Zeke. I also have had traumatic experiences when I was a child that I hope to get help for, because I feel like I am still in pain and don't have freedom from those experiences. You give me a lot of courage to not feel shame of those things, that were not my fault. I've watched every single episode you've had so far and will continue to follow. The stories from both of you are so real and raw. I am a full believer in God and that everything in life happens for a reason. Just wanted to thank y'all for opening up and being honest and living in your truth.

I believe in every fiber of my being that those who won't forgive a sin can be more sinful than those who committed the sin. It is difficult to forgive those who have created havoc in life but when you decide to surrender all the agony to God, it is beautiful to start reaping the rewards of redemption. Forgiveness is a learning experience process that can only be achieved through reflection and revelation. Life can be overwhelming sometimes but the only way to overcome obstacles is understanding that sometimes the lesson to be learned from the experiences isn’t our lesson. We were the sacrifice in the process of the lesson. Love your podcast! Blessings 😊

And greg, whoa. Incredible story. You inspire me to be a better person. All you've gone through and you're still forgiving and don't live as a victim, although most people would if they walked in your shoes. Thank you for sharing, and I'm so sorry the judicial system failed you. Absolutely heartbreaking you had to go through all of that in prison. But, your story is helping so many people in the world. Everything happens for a reason, and you wouldn't be in this place right now if that never happened to you. A huge survivor!!! God bless you and your family.

Greg, as a Independant Advocate in Family court & a professional who has presented with LAPD as a pediatric nurse, Early Childhood educator & victim survivor. Therre are too many INNOCENT YOUNG MEN in prison for other mens crimes or crimes they did Not do but had no $$ or Power to have a fair trial. You find out who your real family & friends are > 💯%! They say more than half the men in prison in USA are innocent. Imagine the impact on all those families & friend's??. This site will go viral soon enough. 🙏 ❤& blessings. Db from Chicago. 😉

Stopped watching when you start dropping the f bomb and the basic premise of advice is to move forward in your own strength. You've been blessed by God, you were exonerated where others were not and now you're experiencing success. Be grateful to the One who has helped you.
