    This is unbelievably good! I think it's odd I haven't seen a forced perspective diorama until now but the effect is mesmerizing.

    Thank you! I’m pretty sure Jazza did a forced perspective diorama once, but he chose a difficult angle. Because I chose a full frontal view the effect is very strong, I think. (I chose this angle because it is easier to build though, not because I had any idea that it would work better or anything 🙈)

    Thanks so much for this video. I've been trying for weeks to figure out how to determine the distance of the focal point in a container. Was so simple but was just going over my head. Got a new follower. Thanks

    Amazing and inspiring. I would love to see more forced perspective dioramas. Subbed! My only quirk with this is that the brightness of the moon draws my eyes in so much more than the vampire.

  • @atelier_AG

    @atelier_AG

    Thank you! I think you are right that the moon draws a bit too much attention. I was hoping the LED would be a little bit stronger, so that it would light up the vampire a bit more.

    youd always be looking at the piece or photographing it in lit conditions (in order to see everything). If you looked at it in the dark the warm glow would be much more prominent, but then you wont see much. So youd have to paint in the lighting to be brighter. Painting the warm light on a lot more of the body and the face.

    I will point the 2 main problems of this very patient and skillful work. First, it looks like it's a random adventurer walink in a castle, not a vampire lurking and wandering in the castle. I think the pose is the problem, with the lantern and the blade. Second, the fact is too dark, especially for a vampire, and that comes from the fur collar, which is white. A dark color, like a red, or kingly blue or deep green would have contrast way more better with a very pale skin, making it almost glowing in the dark, which is totally a vampiric effect. I hope that my critic don't bring down an incredible detailed work. Thank you for sharing it!
