Greg and Amy are amazing. Just a quick story. About 10 years ago, I ordered a Praetorian and paid the non-refundable purchase price. Shortly thereafter, my daughter was diagnosed with Cancer (for the 2nd time). With the upcoming medical bills and unknowns, I asked if I could cancel and get a refund. They had no obligation to issue a refund, but still did and it was a huge help at the time. I have since purchased 4 Medford’s (or 3 Medford’s and 1 Strider/Medford) and I am no longer a customer of KC or BHQ.

Greg, I love your knives. I still remember the first time I bought a knife off eBay and sent it back to you to get sharpened and you and your team looked at it and basically told me the knife was fucked up and you couldn’t fix it. But you told me don’t worry I will send you a brand new knife for freeand I always will stay a loyal customer with you. Thank you, Greg for everything.

It's for the experiences like this that I can never fall for the bullshit people that try to run medford down. So far above and beyond what they could have done for you that it renders the haters powerless. If someone doesn't like what Medford is trying to do its a problem with them. Your either a real one and get it or you have a deficiency within yourself and will never get it. Glad people like Greg Medford exist because people like him are becoming a rare breed. 💪

I cancelled Knife center immediately when that went down and will never buy a knife from them!! Same with BHQ Spent thousands with them!! But have never bought from them since and have sold or gave away almost all that l purchased from them!! I know I'm only one person.. But I'm trying to do my part!!! Knife Center and BHQ are the worst knife dealers in the industry by far. DLT, Knivesshipfree, Knifeworks, Cutlery Shoppe, REC, Knifejoy, GPKnives reign supreme. There are tons of other great dealers of course.

Own 8 Medfords. Spoke with Greg and Amy several times. Always had a great experience. People suck unfortunately.

Before I purchased my first Medford, I noticed the oddness of the weird voice guy and red guy - really disliked them immediately and now I’m a Medford owner. I knew these guys weren’t stand up before I knew Medford… douches reveal themselves! EDIT - I hated Knifecenter form the beginning - not a single thing just didn’t like them - same with BHQ but to a lesser extent. I buy from EDC lifestyle, American Edge and NC Blade nearly exclusively.

All publicity is good publicity. Keep up the good work. Much love brother.

I have owned 20+ of your knives over the years and handled more than double that. I have NEVER had one or seen one that wasn't basically perfect, and functioned as advertised. Period. Not a lot of companies at any price point can say that. Very rare. I'm not a fan boy, but I love the tools. Great video.

As a newer customer, I’m glad to finally understand what the haters are harping on when they say “don’t take it apart or the warranty is voided.” “Put three washers on one side and 7 on the other to make it work right.” And all that crap. My experience has been solid. I had an issue with a GJ-2 that was promptly taken in and corrected (should be coming back to me soon) but all others have been rock solid from the start. Dying to know who you’re talking about. I must live under a rock or something. 😂🤣

I only have one Medford in my collection, but only because I can't afford more. I gave it time to break in and I've never felt the need to take it apart. I've met Greg several times at Blade Show and he's always very gracious and friendly. And he's right, I've NEVER handled a Medford that wasn't dead nuts centered and had bank vault lockup. Greg's knives require a break in period, respect that and be patient and it will pay you back with great service and smooth glassy action.

I was wondering myself WTF happened with Dirk. I’ve been seeing this weird love/hate thing going on for a while now in the Aficionados group and I can’t make heads or tails of why he admins a fan group if there’s been this much tension. I knew there was something going on but I didn’t know it was at a boiling point. But I know what you mean about fair weather friends. My ex business partner was gaslighting me for years while talking shit behind my back and then double crossed me and stabbed me in the back in a very personal way. I’m curious to hear Dirk’s side but if he won’t take your calls there is probably nothing to talk about at this point - or at least nothing a phone call would tell you that you don’t already know.
