I used to fish that first lake all the time it was amazing caught my PB brook trout there. However I think it winter killed over this last winter.

Don't know to much about cutthroat way more with rainbows and could definitely be wrong but looked like it could of been a hybrid to me just my opinion tho! And just found the channel dude love the videos keep them coming while I catch up on the old ones!

I definitely enjoy a longer format, but too many commercial breaks can interrupt the flow and pacing. Also noticed you got a compliment from Ace! Maybe ya'll should team up for a friendly catch & cook speed challenge. His subs need to see your channel bro! IDEAL TIME TO POST A CHALLENGE VIDEO JUST FOR ACE! SEIZE THE OPPORTUNITY!!

@@bassntroutfishing Might be informative replaying your videos after posting, but hopefully when and how often ads display is adjustable. To avoid interruption many creators place two ads before a video starts and two at the end. Just a tip if you can influence the ad placement.

By the way, that cutthroat hybrid that you caught, that's actually called a Cutbow which is a cross breed between cutthroat and rainbow.

Hey man! I fished that lake last year around may and didn’t see much signs of life, I caught one smaller fish but barely say any rises or cruising fish at all, when did you fish this? I know you posted it 5 months ago but im just curious if maybe you were sitting on the footage for a while before posting? Great video regardless! Hopefully I was just there on a bad day

That fish is a Cutbow trout. Cross between and Rainbow and a Cutthroat trout.

That looks like a cuttbow. That’s what we call them here in California anyway

Dude, I know the camera flattens out hills and stuff but you should get yourself a Tacoma and laugh at roads like that. I mean total respect for hiking in and stuff but where you like to do a lot of day trips, being able to drive right up and close to your spots would net you a lot more fishing and camera time

Just saying there are only 4-5 species of cutthroat not 20. There are plenty of subspecies as in crossbreed.. Come out to pyramid lake in Nevada!! I live like 45 min away and the smallest one I have caught is 5-6 pounds, biggest is 23.7!! My dad caught a 27 pounder!! It would be Hella cool if you came out here! And let me know if you do, I will put you on some spots🙏🙏❤️

No there’s quite a few different strains, bonneville, Colorado, bear lake, yellowstone, piute, greenback, west slope, coastal, lahontan, etc. but yeah, none of them even come close to the fish you got in pyramid. I would love to go try it sometime!
