On one hand, you smashed a kid's nuts. On the other, you utilized a nuke to smash everyone's nuts. The difference is the former a kid will live a full life remembering it's nuts getting smashed, probably destroyed, and the latter everyone would be vaporized before they knew the forced bestowed upon their nuts. I believe for one it is more humane to nuke someone than crush their juvenile nuts. Verdict, sludge nuts is far worse.

I just abuse combat to walk past them without being pickpocketed, unless I'm playing a character who doesn't care about smacking an orphan in the mouth, then fighting half The Den, including more orphans, culminating in them wiping out a substantial portion of a town and being branded a Child Killer 😅

One of the many reasons Fallout 2 is the best in the series. Complete freedom of choice, no protected NPC nonsense. Bethesda never really understood this about Fallout and censors the games and choices way too much.

Fallout 3 is probably the darkest game as far as character choice goes though. I don’t think it gets any worse than helping the Slavers kidnap Bumble. That shit unironically makes me stop evil runs of that game.

That’s not even the most fucked up thing in Fallout 2, let alone the entire series. Fallout 2 has an npc you can basically r#pe outside of Vault City, and Fallout 3 has that quest where you help the Slavers kidnap Bumble. Both of those make me feel ill enough to where I can’t bring myself to do evil karma runs.

To be fair, she was borderline useless in the OG game; and it was a forced shotgun wedding; so...Fuck it. There IS A mod to make her slightly less useless, but even then she's not terribly useful.

Selling Arcade to Caesar seems particularly vile given that he eventually kills himself. Its poetic, and a callback to history in a way, but dark af.

Compared to fallout 4’s version of “evil” which is helping people whilst being slightly rude/annoyed at them
