It was a fun show, but they really fucked with the lore. Got rid of the NCR and Vegas which is a real bummer. There's no hunt of civilization, when there absolutely should be. Still, I liked it and I'm looking forward to the next season.

The most promising thing about this to me is that it is not an adaptation, it's an original story set within the game's universe.

I recently started playing the very first Fallout game. At the first settlement I found I stole 20 bucks from a guy and immediately the whole town knew my location and started trying to kill me and that's how I got my first game over.

As soon as "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" started playing I got very teary eyed. This show was incredible

I started watching this while my wife was sitting near me reading. She'd glance at it every couple of minutes, then she heard the little girl talk about bombs. She asks, "what bombs are they talking about?" I replied, "just watch". We both watched the series in 2 days.

I just watched the maze runner trilogy last week for the first time,had no idea goggins was in it. He looked like a ghoul in that movie,and I had no idea it was ever a thing. This is the right way to make game adaptations. The characters are engaging, and Amazon Prime earns respect unlike Netflix. Netflix - Henry Cavill as Witcher and Freya Allan as Ciri were great. So cooperating with Bethesda was and still is the wisest decision.

I gotta say, one thing they nailed the look of was the power armor. It looks incredible.

Vault Tec spokesman turned ghoul is such a prefect role for Goggins. I try not to get my hopes up about projects like these but goddamn this looks good.

so you never played the games? Edit: keyword is every-time, which isn’t the case. not every door is a loading screen. Loading screens only happen when you go into new areas. ​@@BlazingOwnager Makes sense though; can't be easy living as a ghoul, and even just from a practical point of view there's probably a bunch of ghoul-related problems you'd want chems to counteract or manage somehow, so it might not even be (or started as) recreational/performative.

If the main character is not changing armor sets every 5 seconds, looting everything that can be seen, spending hours at crafting stations choosing what to spend their 4 screws on, romancing every single living thing in the wasteland, injecting every single chem known to man in their veins at once, saying they want to "trade" with someone and end up taking everything from their pocket, and having a 3 minute montage of a crafting sequence only to realize they are short on one spring, then they are not main charactering correctly.
