@@Santi-vr6rmThey only misalign if you are standing or moving, otherwise it’s accurate, atleast according to the fallout wiki.

@@Profligateslayer nah it's just misaligned. Turn the "true iron sights" off in the settings and youll see it fixes it.

Your problem here is your aim is too exact. From what I can tell, weapons don't shoot exactly where the ironsights go; the bullets seem to go just a little high. Your bullets here are going just barely over the Ganger's head.

Due to minor miscalculations (or bug?), the bullet projectile actually spawns AFTER the gun shakes up from the recoil and not the exact moment when you fire it. (I think. I could be wrong)

@@rodrikofharlaw6848 turning the "true iron sights" off in the settings fixes the misalignment but it'd look like fallout 3 hip fire because you're literally turning off the iron sights option.

@@thedesertfox6889 Not really, it's more akin to how you would hold weapons in Quake Classic when ADSing

You are wrong recoil doesn’t exist in this game it’s just an animation that plays on the view model

​@@The_House_Always_Wins And this simulates recoil. The animation shakes and you next shot can go different trajectory because you are trying to re-aligned the sights. The devs tried to simulate recoiled with a shake animation.

It looks cool,but it fucks the aim Somehow that didn't seem to bother me last time i played new vegas,except for when i aimed EXACTLY at someone and i still missed a few times,i didn't really notice most of the time though)

From my understanding the sights are a bit off in New Vegas. I remember making long distance shots in the mountains and having to aim down a bit with the Service Rifle.

I believe there is a mod to fix most iron sights. I end up turning off true iron sights and aiming like fallout 3

This is why I don’t use guns anymore in FNV. Explosives and Melee are infinitely better.

I always hated this game for its stupid shooting... you could mag dump some enemies in the head 3 times before they die.... totally stupid and annoying

@Vault Boy I can't stand new vegas without some type of mod to change the game play... the first time I played I pissed off the NCR and they sent the Rangers after me, this one NCR ranger took 3 mag dumps to the head with a 9mm SMG and didn't die, he was wearing a cowboy hat... tell me what kind of stupid game play is that? That is some of the worst gameplay ever. The story is ok, but the cult fan base around the game kind ruins that too. When the cult fan base thinks this game is the greatest accomplishment of all humanity and shits of a ton of other games, then you actually play this game and the combat is absolutely garbage the fan base sours the story. Most of the writing isn't even that great, only a few companions like Boone, Raul, Lilly are A+ writing, the game also does a good job of allowing multiple approaches to getting quests. Other than that most of the writing is Meh. If your going to do a shooter do it properly with head shots being kill shots. Fallout 3 was sort of bad for this too most stuff died quick, human enemies died with a few shots but not Multiple mag dumps, and most of the really tanky enemies were monsters and super mutants and stuff, not raiders or people... also Fallout 3 combat still sucked, but the difference is Fallout 3 fans can admit their games combat sucks, amd aren't up their own ass with how great they think their game is. Fallout New vegas fans seem to think because they got Iron sights in the Vanilla game somehow that makes the combat better. When actually it was made way worse with the damage sponge issue now instead of just a few monsters being tanky damage sponges in FO3 now everything in the game is a tanky damage sponge. NCR cowboy hat stopping 3 mag dumps at point blank range, unbelievably stupid. Same thing with Fallout 4 people keep going on about how much better the combat is, but everything it still a tanky damage sponge... if your going to do a first person shooter, do it properly like COD, Battlefield, or Counterstrike. Enemies can be strong by having the player be weak, if the player dies as quickly as enemies the game can still be made difficult and challenging.
