Love everything they've done so far! Tick tock tick tock! (NO, not the social media app.. I mean a clock!) is ticking. Almost here. I've heard they've already renewed it for season 2 - and based on what I've seen so far, they absolutely should be. Glad they're spending some money on putting the word out there!

I cringe every time she says that in interviews. But to be fair, non gamers lack video game literacy so it makes sense she doesn't describe it like we would. I saw another interview where she said she got level 2 but then clarified that she got her character to level 2.

They need to play on the PC! Superior to console.

That's not true, and I can prove it. BG3 plays better on console than PC. Movements for controllable characters are smoother on console. Everyone who has played that game on both PC and console has said that the console is better...lmao

“We can do things in tv you just can’t do in games” - bullshit. Games are far superior, and there’s much more that can be done in games as opposed to tv as a result. But man I hope this show lives up to the name and legacy.

Yeah, so far Aaron Moten's responses pertaining to the games always seem to be somewhat evasive and unappreciating to the games series, at least from the interviews I've watched. Whenever these types of questions arise, he seems lost. Then again, he is an actor doing his job and he's not obligated to be familiar with the games to give a good portrayal. Being true to the Fallout lore is up to producers and writers and he's there to give his best in the role he plays, so I'm willing to cut him some slack for being apparently unfamiliar with the Fallout games.

@@howardp.lovecraft4499 that is true and I am more concerned with the writing team more than the actors. I’m hopeful, but hesitant. And the writers for the Witcher show have scared me for life, and then the halo writers didn’t help. It seems Hollywood writers always think they know better than the established lore. But hey, who knows? Hopefully (similar to last of us) since Todd is there watching them, it’ll be good. Man I hope so, anyway.

@@onthaloose7521 I get you man. I am also cautiously optimistic. "The Witcher" was a dreadful show, despite Henry Cavill who is a fan of the franchise and has fought for the show to remain true to the lore. "Halo" was also dreadful and we could discuss everything wrong in that show for weeks if not even months. Honestly, I am most worried by the fact that the same company that did the utter abomination of Tolkien's work ("Rings Of Power") is making "Fallout", but so far I don't have too many complaints and Todd Howard's investment is somewhat reassuring. I may get to eat my words later, but I really hope that this will end up as a good show that stays true to the established franchise. I guess it all comes down to catching that special atmosphere that "Fallout" has, balancing darker themes with sardonic humor.

Not really true. In the video games, the Vaults are actually kind of small. I mean, if they truly need to hold 1000 people, there's no way they're doing in the 30 odd rooms in a vault. In a TV show they can make it seem a LOT bigger, without boring the player with wandering around a bunch of empty halls. And that's just one example.

Sorry, but games and writing in games does not come withing a country mile of TV. TV is way ahead. Even the well written games pale in comparison to TV. Games writing sucks most of the time and as merely decent at absolute best even in the best written games.
