My spawn used be right on the edge of a cliff. I hated the spawn, but loved the camp location. After seeing this I moved the spawn and it's amazing. Such a great tip.

I respawned under my bunker.. Then Under my house's foundation.. I just had to reposition that thing.. I forgot it's name.

This is the 1st video I've seen that shows what segment of the video you're watching using the tracking bar. 'introduction', 'general tips'... That's pretty cool.

The ammo prices are hilarious! Jump on a daily Op if your short on a certain ammo.

I've only recently gotten into Player Vending and I've been playing F76 since launch. I love visiting people's CAMPs. Some are atrocious boxes of wood, others are very creative and unique. Some items are ridiculously expensive or completely unappealing, then I'll find an amazing 3-Star weapon for under 1k. It's such a gamble that it's addicting. It's easily my favorite part of the game now.

I've always loved the camp building aspect of both fallout 4 and 76. But the more items they introduce in the atomic shop, the more money I sink into my camp, and the more often I have to redo the layout! I just wish that they would increase the camp size, both in radius and budget!

This game is sick! I had zero interest in crafting and building a camp. But I had so much junk that I needed to use it or lose it. So now I'm building a bed and breakfast and convenience store with all the amenities near the top of the world. There's going to be a deck in the back for 3 separate bed rooms. But now I need more junk to build a building design to sell my junk. The gameplay loop is addictive.

If you fully upgrade a good legendary pipe weapon and get the appropriate perks, they're surprisingly good, especially since the ammo is so common.

I sell plans for 1 cap because people did when I was a starting player and it helped me tons!

I completely agree with your ammo costs, I play stealth commando so I burn through bullets. If 5.56 or 45 rounds are more than 1 cap, I generally don’t look at anything else. Your serums are a good price, people tend to gouge on them. PVP players love Chameleon pieces and Nuka Cola Quantum, so I sell those. It’s funny, the only time I’ve seen a cyrolater is to grief me, so I refuse to sell those. I tend to put low level or mid game items very cheap (if I don’t just give them away when I encounter lower levels) cuz I’ve been gifted many things by higher players myself. You’re right, prices can vary wildly, some vendors absolutely gouge and others are reasonable... it’s a crap shoot. Another drawback you mentioned is storage budget... I’m always right up against it (like everyone not on Fallout First) and trying to keep my carry weight down. Stimpacks are heavy in camp, and weigh nothing on me due to traveling Pharmacy... same with Nuka Colas and Booze with Thru Hiker (or Grocer’s backpack). Inventory management is one of my least favorite aspects of the game.

Pff I've been selling all the ammo at 1 cap, aid between 2 or 4 caps, and plans 10 caps no matter what lol. Bulk junk 10 caps too.

Thanks so much for this rundown. As a new player of four weeks I didn't know what the game recommended caps amount at the bottom of the screen referenced. It is so nice having a rough guideline of what to put my items for sale at and I can tweak it as time goes on based on how much weight I have left in my stash.

Vending is such a fun feature it's almost a separate game

Once you had put it into perspective that if Im happy to buy it for that price then that’s a good sign, I had a lot less anxiety with setting prices! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video.

Good vid sir! I can confirm every bit of what he said. I’ve generally had the best luck selling legendary and rarer items I don’t want at half off and below while I’m busy questing. While you’re off doing things it gives your shop time to be browsed. Chances are team mates and party members will want to check your wares. And players can’t buy your stuff if you keep server hopping and moving your camp constantly. Be patient. Also, don’t get overly stingy with prices or attached into thinking you got super special items that nobody else has. I promise you theres a dozen or so players selling better for even less. I literally couldn’t even use a quarter of what I pick up even if I wanted to myself, so don’t be afraid to have a discount on good items. There is always more to be found easily. While off doing other things I’ll usually pick up more legendary items to restock while players are buying the stuff I just stocked with. Not always but usually. Make sure it’s good stuff thats priced reasonably. Nobody wants to buy a regular level 5 walking cane for $500 caps. Come on now. Don’t be ridiculous with your pricing. Plans you already know and their duplicates are also good for putting on sale as the NPC vendors are a rip off when it comes to plans. You can pick up a plan a player is selling for $100 caps while the vendor sells it for $1K and up. Other players know this and are for sure looking for plans way below what the NPCs sell them for. If you mark good items even at just 10% of what the NPCs sell them for, that’s a win win. The only other thing you need is a wacky waving inflatable tube guy or something like that and you’re good to go 👍🏻

I have a little bit next to my vending machines that i drop free loot at ammo common plans weapons and stuff. Got a sign with a arrow saying free stuff. It helps players out it doesn't take up space in my stash and makes my camp more inviting.

My biggest & most consistent seller in my vendors has always been selling Bulk Junk items for pretty low costs, ammo @ 1 each, Bobbleheads/mags/misc random stuffs!! I personally love finding the unique stuff &/or random items in other's vendors. PSA: DON'T MAKE YOUR VENDORS HARD TO FIND OR GET TO!!!

In my experience, prices are all over the place. The super reactor plans are a good example. I've seen people selling it for max & I've seen others selling it for mere hundreds. It really sucks when you find someone selling it cheap but you're broke & they log out before you can scrape together enough caps.

Ha ha to right I saw 10 mill amo 4 10 caps the other day they also had a 3 star wepon 4 20000 caps can't remember what it was now. I just sell chems at my camp some rare chems go 4 about 20 caps common chems about 5 when ppl do stop by they often clean me out

The biggest tip I can give you is this. Sell ammo and Scrap for ridiculously low prices. Most high level players will buy in bulk if the price is low enough. And lower leveled players can still purchase stuff too. You can easily rack up 1000's of caps this way if you have the supplies to sell.

Putting your base in the middle of the map makes it easy and cheap to visit. It also makes it much cheaper fast travel across the map if you use your base as a stopover. Weapons and armor.are generally the higher prices items in a vendor. The video didn't spend enough time discussing the good and bad legendary effects. It gave a quick rundown of the best main effects but ignored the 2nd and 3rd star entirely, (how do you not at least mention Explosive) Some of the last 3 star effects are crap like increased Bashing Damage but others can become part integral part of many players character build, (Strength, Ammo or Weapon Weight Reduction). You have to know what effects are desirable and what aren't to set your prices. I loved that I can move the spawn point by moving the CAMP.

Thank you so much, the camp price tips were useful but the camp spawn tip is going to help me so much, currently I spawn in a lake that 60% of the time gives me a disease so now that I can finally spawn on land it will help a lot

@@kyerogers7838 soon as u get at the point with 1 shot kill weapons with that commando build, u pick up every weapon and unless its a b2525/be25 u wont even try to sell it more than scrap value.... so my take for that shotty is 50caps. 2star 150caps 3star 400caps. but if u want to push it and make that 1star worth something its like this 2,5k Bloodied ''Good guns'' handmade etc. 1.5k Submachines and other eeh its ok but i wouldnt use coz ammo runs out so fast... 1k for shotguns > They are bad even with bloodied explosive (in my oppinion)

First off, great info! I really like the idea of moving the camp to pick the spawn. I feel dumb for not thinking of that. One thing I was thinking about is how I’ve stumbled on multiple bloodied 2 & 3 star handmades & combat rifles, and plenty of junkies weapons selling for incredibly cheap. In the case of my crit damage up, bloodied combat rifle, I spent 1000 caps on it. Some people have no idea the value of the items they have. I found those at the least vendor optimized camps. I think it’s very much worth spending some time looking at those camps also.

Tip for changing your spawn location was the best part of this video imo. You said it so matter-of-factly but this was not a well-known fact. You just saved me from tearing down my camp to move it so I stopped spawning inside rocks.

I live on the edge of Morgantown, next the bridge and stream south West of the town. Its a 1600s style colonial house, pretty much the center of the map North East of Arktos. Water 2 caps, gas masks 5 caps. Ultracite plans around 30 to 50 caps, ammo 1 cap.

Someone bought most of my 308 last night for over 1k caps... Thats the most I've had so far at lvl 36! So awesome! Also when im over weight I usually just find a low level player and give it to them and they usually help me in some way. Made a few friends that way.

Great video and thanks for the advice..... I tend to be quite generous and cheap with the things i sell, even if it is rare or highly sort after as well as going by the the rule of setting prices on things that i would pay for it and not have it to ridisculous.

I honestly stopped putting ammo in my stash box. It is amazing how much space ammo can take up. Lately I've just been randomly placing ammo into random containers around the wasteland.

Even if it has a good legendary effects, i don't think players who have that much caps have any more need for such armor (i mean players who play so much as to make that much caps, probably also have plenty of similar value legendaries and better ones for themselves. Players who would have use for such armor just usually can't afford such price. At least that is what i think.

I agree especially for close to power armor only players I don't need legendary armor since the power armor negates the effects I think

I wish the camp shops had their own inventory. That way items you want to sell will be taken out of your stash and won't be weighing it down.

Thanks for this episode! It was very insightful, I took your advice and applied it but slightly modified it. I found location was key. I sell alot of low level ammo, mods and needed chems at reasonably low or rather cheap prices. It's really help add to my cap gain while more importantly helping new players by equipping them with needed things at a cheap price. Love your channel and look forward to more videos. Thanks again

Automatic instigating is actually insane as the double damage is on each shot that leaves the gun while the enemy is at full health that gets the benefit.

There's a welcome mat in the build menus that you can place in the exact spot you want to fast travel to.

The fast travel welcome mat works for me in workshops, but it doesn't even show up when in my camp. It sucks

Good video. A couple quick tips tho. Fed76(the discord price check tool) is a great tool to use to find starting prices. Secondly, camp plans are mostly extremely easy to get. People buy them simply because they don't have them, they're not looking for a deal, they just don't want to get ripped off. The base prices of 100-150 on these is perfect and you don't have to sweat your brain haggling with the price. Just learn to recognize the few that are actually rare. Lastly, don't waste time/money/stash space on Ultracite PA plans, you get the whole set for free eventually and the mods only come from SBQ, and those are what you'll be struggling to get.

Bro, this guide is amazing, you are very pedagogic. If anything I sould just suggest that you spend like 5 or 10 seconds explaining what can you sell the items for, when you don't sell them for caps

Don't forget to power one of the vending machines. Although it may be a simple tip, it was one i missed for about 3 weeks when i was new to the game. Without it, you will not get the V, but a normal camp symbol.

I actually look for camps near places I don't have marked yet for now while I'm still new. Or close to quest markers near quests that jump further out from previous quests. Probably shouldn't and just walk it to mark more and stuff

about bulked junk, its probably how i make the most of my caps, maybe tied with ammo. i rarely put bulked adhesive up for more than 30c each, and then lower value for most others. with the exceptions of lead and acid. they go for 30 as well.

I personally dont care for fast travel costs. Its pennies. Love seeing peoples camps anyway so its worth it. Great video bud thanks. Also if anyone complains about your high prices dont pay attention. Someone told me that my 3* handmade was too high at 12k caps and messaged me stating his anger. I just put "lol" then he bought it 5 mins later.

I put my camp on the mountain right next to the rusty pick!! People thst fast travel to the outside see my huge lit up camp on the hill im the distance, always getting people visiting! Since rusty pick is the only place you can buy legendary rolls with scrip(: great location!!

"You want to make your base enticing" Me: *visits New Gad, teleports back to my camp, fills my vendor with short hunting rifles. Rubs hands together evily*

Ironically, I built a base outside New Gad with a theme. Its a Fort with huge cement walls. Once people walk in, they’re greeted with a sign that says “Support the fight against New Gad Commies. Buy my goods.” That sign alone has gotten me a lot of money. 😂

From what I can tell if that your spawn point is pretty much due north of where ever your CAMP thing is set.

Other than ammo which I sell one for one my go to for pricing things is usually half of the recommended price 😉👍

I just sell most plans and whatever for description price (stims, plans, etc.). Weapons and armor depends on effect of course.

I had an instigating pump shotgun that carried me from around level 5 to around level 50, it was a godlike low level weapon

The method I use is these 2 formulas: Standard pricing is 10% discount (the vendor bots purchase for less even with the perk and max charisma) for fusion cores I take the remaining power (treated as percentage) then multiply it by 1.62.

Played 1500 hours and had no idea that where the camp machine was places determined the spawn point. Thank you

I generally sell aid items for 5-10 cap higher than what I could get from NPC vendors. With plans I take the suggested price and truncate the last(500=50).

Maybe they changed it, but aside from moving your actual C.A.M.P. machine there is an item in the build menu that is a "welcome" mat which you can place anywhere in your camp's area and it should be the location you spawn at whenever fast traveling.

Man wish I could come across your camp. People sell things so expensive compared to you

Lol forgot to say this the other day and i'm not sure how many new people will be reading these comments but I recommend selling any ultracite plan for max 50 caps if you are doing queen runs often, They really don't sell that often and I've always had them at 50 or less. the jet packs I usually put for ~100 caps.

I always check out camps by the river. Those are the prettiest locations

I didn't know about moving the camp to change the spawn spots! Mind blown.

Still playing today, found a 3-star BMG that is insane for scorchqueen, debating selling it but I'll probably keep it for queen runs

I find that parking near Whitespring is effective in getting traffic. While it's not a free location, it's sufficiently high traffic that people are going to be there anyway.

I have a camp in a starter area, I usually go by the recommended point, should I go a bit lower. May do something for Christmas, a 1-5 cap on things and 1/2 on higher rated items. Any advice.

Yep I left many camps if it takes too long to find their vendors

I have the perfect storm and its awesome. It catches your enemies on fire and uses no fuel just 10mm ammo

A great weapon. Allows you to follow where the enemies are too cos they're on fire.

When it comes to duplicate plans and recipes I just fast travel to 76 and drop them outside the vault door. Let it be a nice surprise for the next emerging dweller

As a new player I bounce around from shops looking for plans. Ill buy if its 200 or less unless it's clearly something i have not seen like weapon plans. I sell extras I get for 25-100. Serums I will buy extras for 250 but sometimes see for 500. I personally set my camp under a cliff near an event. So anytime the event goes my place is the closest workshop. People visit to break stuff down or repair and they always check my shop. Ammo sells fast if its 1-2 caps but the big stuff i can sell 5-10. Power cores I can sell for 100 if its full otherwise i have to sell for 25-50... Or just half of what ever is left in it. Quest related clothes always sell. Like chef hats, swimsuits or just things that are a pain to go get. I always spend what i make though so I am constantly poor. Just recycling what I get.

Building a camp near an event is a smart choice. I'm always poor too but I love living the survivalist way 🫡

I have my camp set up just north of drop site V9 so that I get a big rush of sales just after the scorched earth event

On one matter i'm of a different opinion. more important than having stuff to sell in all categories is having two or three categories with many offers. most often, i'm specifically looking for a weapon, an armor part or a blueprint and then i'll visit camps with a big number of weapons etc to sell. i expect many other players doing the same.

I server hop gather all the lead bulk it and sell it. I also grab up fusion gen plans and nuke key cards when I can get them. Lose screws sell well bulk steel bulk springs bulk rubber bulk oil bulk adesive and surprisingly enough dog food and treasure maps. 45 ammo sells well.

Also use the public teams, people can fast travel too you for free when they join your team. It's a good way to bring people to your shop. Free travel is always a bonus

I usually set items at the price the game reccomends it unless I know the item is rare or has value
