The thing about a pistol build, is that they're all about having the right tool for the job. For them to be powerful, you need to carry a bunch of them and use the right one for what you're fighting. Otherwise, basically anything else is better.

Honestly I ran with an auto 10 mm pistol for a while and was able to get it as a decent quad and it shredded my enemies

I really wanted a pistol build, so I saved up and got the Crusader Pistol from Minerva, plus mods, all the perks, and still it was so subpar that it was outperformed by literally unmodded weapons without supporting perks. So I switched to a Cold Shoulder shotgun build.

I mean... They're pistols. I'm the first person to amusedly point out how utterly ridiculous Bethesda's implementation of firearms normally are, but they did get pistols right- they're sidearms, after all. I have done a half-and-half build for roleplay purposes (a cop who used pistols and shotguns), and that was pretty fun. I do wish dual-wielding was a thing, though. That'd make pistols infinitely more attractive, but would probably break the game 🤣

It’s expensive and the ammo is expensive to craft the burn rate of ammo is too much imo

So for the full set of Thorn armor I need about 3002 bullion I really want to try it for my melee build character

Still waiting for her to sell the plans for the secret service underarmor. I don't have the gauss pistol yet. Still wiping out everything with my auto 10mm and pipe pistols.

Keep getting better? I feel like they keep getting worse. I just got the Guass pistol in her last sale and one of the SS underarmor, the one that was the best of the 2. The Pistol sucks but I'm only using a couple pistol perks, mainly the ones that give more damage.

@NakedVaultDweller is the Thorn armor set worty getting while it's on sale? I have SS armor with the Shielded Underarmor that I just got from Minerva today and I already have the Strangler Heart PA

i just started to used the gauss pistal, its fun to use, but vats, don't seem to work half the time, il have vats cards and vats legdary effect, and il see an enimey and hit chance is like 87% and it will just miss most of the time, even know its vats accuracy is 61%. ether the gun needs fixing and a buff to show its true potential, cuse its almost there

HEY DWELLER, ive noticed in the video that your using a LMG and that it has NO recoil!? how ae you doing that? i rolled a anti-armor/ with 50% more limb damage and =1 to perception. which is really good but had damn recoil. but tonight i was in an event and the BEST kind of LMG dropped; quad/ explosive and plus something to aim damage. and again, recoil. i even mod it with prime reciverer

The footage you see in the video was made on a custom server. The physics aren't the same as a regular adventure world server. Thanks for asking brother.

Ok, the only problem with this is that every world ending movie always happens on Sep 23... Just saying.

I basically used all my gold for the secret service, the pa paint and the power armor set so doubt will have for this armor too now. I will save probably for the t-65. I don't need any of this stuff I got (Im using recon armor for bos set) and want, is just pure collection...unless the t-65 is better than ultracite one.

I use the pistol for wall display it looks cool, that's about it.
