With the new update, 10 Fuel per shot, you can get 18 shots from Huge tank before you have to reload. That negates the reload speed in my opinion, because I always have time for a tactical reload before I run out of ammo.

Probably only person I've heard mention what works best for this gun on full health builds. Every review after the patch has been with bloodied, which really changes how you can use it Full health, i have to use it like a plasma caster, vats head shots, no critical, vampire effect to kill a lv 100 super mutant in one shot, multi barrel still works for this As bloodied I can use it like a launcher and let the dot clean up enemies

@@TheBouregard I understand Pre patch as a Full Health, I used vamps and quad rolls as a launcher to control the hill in eviction notice and protect the scrubber I can't do that post patch until I get an instigating roll and pop some drugs Otherwise head shots with the quad and vamps works fine, multi or heavy barrel

he does have a bloodied build tho, just not using bloodied as a legendary mod, only difference really is his vats hit chance and the damage is higher in the weapon stats. Aristocrats will work well with it also if you cant get Instigating

What are you talking about? I'm full health, use it as a launcher and let the dot clean up. For me, one shot with the multi barrel and slow burn tank will kill most normal enemies, up to about a level 100 yao guai. Mine is anti armor crit damage, so nothing to boost the dot

By far, the best weapon for those events where you have to Defend an NPC (Project Paradise, Radiation Rumble) when you mix it with the Friendly Fire perk

Dude, yes. On test your metal I've been climbing the wall and literally just targeting the allies who run around and die constantly. With the multi barrel the spread is perfect for hitting anything near the allies and it heals anyone near him because the explosion is so big, its perfect

This is what I've been doing. I've seen so many people complain about the 12 second duration,but after having played dot classes my whole life, I saw it as "that's 2 ticks to lay down suppressive fire with a railway or a handmade"

@@noahfloah8568 not sure there even a best but making sure the dot is always rolling on target is a great way to keep your sustained damage higher than people who aren't dotting, that much is clear.

Turtle, there is 1 more tank modification you dont appear to have. It is the large propellant tank. It previously held 135 ammo, and is only available to learn by scrapping Cremator. Not as good as Fast Tank IMO, but I wanted to mention. Thank you for the vid. Also, aiming directly after shooting to shoot a second shoot quickly works with almost every gun. Ive been using that tech for great effect using Guass Shotgun and AGL on a non-vats build.

That ADS bug applies to the Plasma caster as well. I actually take advantage of it for a semi auto plasma caster in boss fights

You should name it - Cremator DoT build. Anti-Armor with 50crit and heavy barrel with slow-burn is amazing on bosses and great for all around play. The dot here is not the same of course as with bloodied/instigating with damage while aiming, but the latter is full dot all the way with multi shot barrel. I have AA/50crit and B/+25 while aiming and both are wonderful for their purpose.

Aiming thing also works with broadsiders and harpoon guns. Also will work on last shot even if there's no ammo left

Omg! Great Tutorial! After seeing this I immediately went to roll a few more Cremator. And I got a good one!!! Instigators with +25 Aim Dmg, and +15 VATS Crit Charge! Not the perfect, but it's still AWESOME! Thank you Turtle!

7:04 That's a bug/exploit that has been in the game for god knows how many years. You can replicate it with 90% of all weapons and it works best with weapons/launchers that only have 1 round since it will duplicate it and not use the ammo. Fatman has 1/1 magazine, meaning it will duplicate the other shot and not use your ammo. A Plasma Caster has 16/16 shots, using this method, you will fire 2 shots extremely fast but you'll be left with 14/16 ammo, but if u have 1/16 ammo in your Plasma Caster, using this method again, will fire another shot even though u are at 0/16 ammo. Overkill Fatman shoots twice, if u shoot and aim, it will fire 4 nukes instead of 2. So if you have an Overkill Fatman with a MIRV installed... You can fire 4 nukes... which will be split into more mini nukes themselves... AKA, nuke your FPS and EYES AKA Best use it with weapons that only have 1 clip/round If LAG & FPS is on your side, you can almost automatic fire a Fatman...for the price of 1 ammo

If you scrap one cremator you will get another tank a large one

The extra shot while aiming works on multiple weapons. I do that as part of my normal attacks with my double barrel shotgun.

What is the SPECIAL setup you use?

My vampire cremator is half the damage as yours, what gives? The 2 star vital perk? I don't get it.

With an instigating on my full health I prefer Napalm over slow and a heavy barrel, anything less than a boss burns down in a few seconds if it doesn't die from impact so the longer burn is really not doing anything. And that is on my gunslinger/medic build with no heavy cards, using crit savy and better crits and all the vats cards. Also that is a no power armor build with asbestos lining on my solar armor, so I can use it point blank and take no damage. My bloodied heavy gunner toon uses power armor and burns itself down all the time :P

Yeah I think slow-burn is overrated unless one is worried about ammo consumption. The DoT doesn’t stack anyway, so who wants to stand around waiting for the timer?

If you scrap cremators, you can unlock ‘large propellant tank’ that adds +50%ammo capacity at minor AP cost.

Thats the thing, I like that you aren't thinking to try to take all the xp from an event. Thats a GREAT way to do it if you want to bring it to an event! Shoot once, every so often, to tag & move on. I just have to laugh when I see people come into public events & use grenades or large aoe weapons to try to take everything for themselves. It's not that serious, theres more xp to be had, like everywhere. It's a public event, for everyone, save the solo play for after the event. A lot of times there a lower level characters just trying to tag something & can barely get a tag anywhere in events when this happens. I mean I guess to each their own, but, it's really not something you would do in person in a public space, try to hog all the goodies for yourself, so why do it online? I guess maybe some of you are haha, but, In events I try to just tag stuff if I want to, or help out by keeping a post up or an npc alive, whichever the goal. I usually use lower dmg weapons at events as there are usually less enemies than players can easily handle, outside of like a couple, but then, like I said, I just keep an area covered. The most annoying thing is when someone comes in & is repeatedly spamming explosive weapons at an event that in no way needs it. No one is over run, they are just blowing out our screens with their explosions, so we can't even see to find the enemies, for no reason. I usually just leave at that point, because to each their own, I'm not going to tell anyone how to game, but, if thats the way they want to do it, it's just a bummer for the other players.

I used it like plasma caster, one shot machine in vats, with bloodied 50crit basically just need 3shots to kill Mirelurk queen

Most weapons can be shot twice, they can also shoot twice with the price of 1 missile, 40mm grenades and Mini Nukes.

Low health commando build here and I used the Cremator during the alien event, holy cow. It's powerful and I'm not spec'd for it. I was able to take down all the Lieutenants no problem. Especially since we've got all noobs on playstation, they try hard, but die often.

Yo is it energy damage or what that the aliens do to you? At 350 hp they just melt my health bar through my power armour and I'm unsure if they're ganking me or what. And how tf do I destroy the alien drones (if cremator is not an option, it did okay against some I came across outside the event)? I can't seem to deal good damage to them.

How is your DOT damage at 4k?

I've been having issues with group looting when the enemies are killed by the DOT versus a direct hit. I can still loot the enemies but I have to go to each individual body and loot it.

I was hoping a perk build preview of what you use with it.

the bug that makes the gun shoot a little bit faster when initiating aiming while firing ALSO does the same thing with the AGL! with the AGL, it fires just fast enough that I can squeeze out a third shot out of the barrel in the time it would take for one shot to be fired and land from a short-to-medium distance.

How can you reach 760 of dmg o. Impact and 4540 of burning dmg ? I m only at 264 on impact and 1577 on dot . Is it because of your lvl or i miss something ?

Thank you for the updated infos! ❤ I'm running a Multi-Shot Slow-Burning Vampire one, and it works like a charm. I don't even bother to get rid of the Demolition Expert perk as I have no use for those 5 points as my build is already full. 😅 The only thing I wanna do, as I can't rely on Instigating for impact damage increase, as I'm using Multi-Shot and not Heavy barrel to trigger 4x healing would be to increase DoT. I don't need Anti-Armor as I'm a full-HP Power Armor user, so Stabilized does that. Extra Fire Rate would be also useless as DoT doesn't stack with itself, so I need to let those 12 seconds do the job and not fire more often for being useless to do so. So, my question is: in such setup, the only legendary effect that would increase DoT would be +25% while aiming, right?

For my full health I use junkies instead of instigating and with the quad barrel, works great against a lot of things

The weapon wrecks alien invasion. Tag and change target. Makes quick work of the trash mobs.

I am running a Vamps, Limb, Reload Cremator with Fire proof and Sizziling Style perks. What usually do is Vats the head or legs (mostly head because of how the fireball goes up and hit the head lol) and then fire at the ground when they get close. I’m still trying to check if I get healed from the burn but by far that’s the best cremator for me.

Auto shotgun also has the aiming bug. Used a vampire auto shotgun on a new character for a bit it was fun.

Here is what I found: Before patch: I was killed myself with this weapon more than my enemies. Explosive being the cause. After the patch: I can shoot point blank, no problem. I kill less, however. Still, the 10 instead of 15 ammo per shot helps somewhat. DOT??? Good for Uber Players, bad for my 100 - 200 level like me, they kill me before the stupid DOT kills them. Conclusion: Getting back to my beloved Vampire Flamer 😊 Note: VATS precision is weaker with Cremator, but you can shoot further and wipe out some weaker enemies faster. A Vampire more silent weapon, like the Flamer is more usable.

What about the changes to your perk cards?

That’s a bug with all weapons. I use it to make my lever shoot faster. Good for heart of the swamp. Aim shoot and empty your clip. Reload 1 shot and aim down sight. Boom rapid fires glitch for lever!

What is the best heavy weapon build for killing bosses and everything else as quick as possible?

Pretty cool! I've been having a ball with the Cremator! I have an Instigating with +50 Vats hit chance and -25% Vats cost per shot. I also have a Bloodied with limb damage and 90% reduced weight. These have to be, hands down, the most fun weapons for a very long time! When they said they were going to "Adjust" the damage, with the last update, my heart sank. But thankfully, they didn't nerf the initial damage, but really enhanced the slow burn damage, making it more well rounded. I'm going to have to try the double barrel, for boss fights. The multi shot barrel is the best, especially for Radiation Rumble, and Eviction notice. I'm going to have to try them without Grenadier, because the blast with it is so blinding, and I just wonder how much extra damage I'm really doing... It's funny, because I mainly use Grenadier for my Tesla, LOL!

No perk cards recommendation in the video? I’m struggling with my build and would love to see what cards you choose for this one.

I understand the concept of instigating being the best but a God roll? I'd understand if you're running a private server and soloing everything. But your talking boss fights that 90% of the time there's going to be other players there very likely getting off the first shot. If you have to get the first shot off to get the benefit of the instigating, I just don't see it happening. I manage a decent bloodied roll with double barrel and napalm for bosses. And vamp with multi and slow burn for everyday mobbing. Maybe I'm misunderstood?

I recommend stealth. For some reason im able to stay hidden when crouched, with sneak operative my heavy barrel cremator does 1,4k on head with impact only dot wasnt needed at all(with vampire mod, instigating/bloodied dmg would be higher) - not even specced as heavy gunner. Cruised through my daily ops this way

I can see this working well for the Scorch queen, hit her, turn and start hitting the adds, then hit her again, rinse repeat. You can do alot of damage on her and kill alot of adds at the same time.

Does the build (SPECIAL) work with the changes ? Like the explosive dmg perk ?

There a fourth tank option unlocked by scraping a cremator. I think it's only 50% more ammo so not great but available.

Running a B50c cremator with heavy/slow and seeing the biggest crits of my gametime to date: 3500 head crit on General Zeta. 3100 on dops boss. Without Strange in Numbers!!! I'm sure it could be a little more with heavy/napalmer, but since bloodied affects the dot, it's nice to get that >4k/12 ticking on anything unfortunate enough to be close to my target.

That bug of the extra shot threw me ...i kept questioning myself "did i press the trigger or is that how multishot work🤔🤔🤔" thank you for clearing that up 😂

The faster shooting bug also works on the AGL, AGL really underrated with the Grenadier perk. 0 other Cards invested and it melts all Mobs/ Events/ etc.

I think folks are aware of how powerful AGL is, it is just annoying AF in events for everyone else. AND, it “destroys” loot, contrary to popular belief. I have tested that relentlessly because the prevailing opinions are so confident that this is not the case.

BIG QUESTION: Demo Expert... I noticed that the DOT doesn't change on the weapon description with Demo Expert on or off. So, if using multi-shot for DOT damage, can I free up 5 slots in INT by removing Demo????? That would be HUGE!

just from my small testing at West Tek with Slow Burner Cremators. Atleast here on PS5 Instigating isn't working on the Cremator & dmg while aiming only works if you keep Aiming ... tested Instigating against Bloodied & Bloodied always won (on 3 different Servers with various builds) like i said that's atleast on PS5 (tested for around 1hr)

the Third 3 star Creamator that I crafted was: Anti-armor, +25 damage while aiming, and + critical hit damage, by far my best Creamator. The burning overtime damage Being able to chew through the enemy armor, while also having with my current build having a 90% bonus critical damage, combined with bonus damage when aiming when vats is not available makes it one of the most powerful weapons in my armory, along with my Furious Prime Machine gun which I had for quite some time.

But vampires, FFR, is king you can tank your own damage as long as you have decent build and sizzling style😅

that bug exist with all single shot weapons. its an engine bug i thing. and funny thing is, you dont use ammo if you do it after last ammo.

That double shot in first person has been a glitch with almost all guns. This is especially funny with The Dragon.

I completely disagree on the anti-armor. I also disagree with the choice double or quad barrels. Yes, the burn damage goes up with those barrels, but Heavy Barrel has exceptionally high damage allowing for it to 1shot the Super Mutants on the body. Also, I tested and Anti Armor is only losing about 13~17% damage on first hits, and then gaining damage on every subsequent hits. Also, it just simply does more damage on a Vats crit build against bosses, especially for Full Health power armor builds. In short: Instigating for general gameplay, Anti Armor/Bloodied + critical dmg Heavy barrel Napalmer, or Bloodied dmg while ariming Slowburner for bosses. It has multiple great rolls and I do not agree with the claim anti-armor is scrip

@cephydash1533 It is not worthless at all. The problem with statements like "its bad" and then not showing the comparisons is foolish. He showed only the DOT damage, but DOT damage means nothing, it cannot ever null boss defenses and the burn is completely awful because its only 1 tick per second, if you're landing multiple shots at most you are getting 1, maybe 3 ticks of damage anyway. Now, if you are swapping your weapons then sure. But instigating completely falls apart against any boss. Its not good against things it cant 1shot. Its a 1-trick pony weapon. The damage Angry turtle was doing with his bloodied build is lower than what I was doing against the scorchbeast queen with anti armor. Because scorchbeast queen has a TON of defenses. Which means your DOT damage is even less. Because your damage has to either reach a threshold to not get massively mitigated, or have armor pen of over 60% to do anything. For example 3k burn is 3k divided by 12. This means the tick damage is only about 250 damage with slow burners. However this is 250 unaffected by perks and only affected by the bloodied/instigating/damage while aiming perks. And instigating only works on first hit. Any subsequent hits replaces the burn effect and thusly removes the amplified burn damage as burn damage cannot stack. and other players also can remove your OWN stack of burning damage iirc. Slow burners mod is only useful if you plan to use it as a secondary weapon to something like ultracite gatling plasma or plasma caster or whatever.

Hey turtle. I believe your last build around boss battles, specifically the Gatling plasma was almost a year ago now. With the anti armor change this last year, would it be better to run Anti-Armor or bloodied when fighting bosses, specifically if I plan on speed running with VATS criticals. ?

Does Bloodied not also apply at first shot, then applied per tick? I think I'd rather have 80% (or higher) guaranteed applied damage increase rather than having to conditionally apply 100% damage with Instigating. Also, what a damn shame DoT doesn't stack in this game...

the duble shot bug is a lot usefull for semi auto weapons, with handmade for example I do a lot of damage in like 2 sec

1:18 so is the first mod,(excluding paints) you can unlock at page 8 and the rest of the mods in the next four pages? And you can craft them like learned plan mods right? The reward image looks like it's one of those scrap mods.

That not just a bug on the cremator, other guns have two shot chains, most notably with the railway single shot.

How is your Cremator's DoT damage improved? At 6:00 you show your Instigating Cremator and its DoT damage is 3390. I have the same roll and mine is 3193.

I have a instigating limb +50 -25action helps quite a bit with the vats cost

This weapon is a beast even with out good legendary rolls. Currently running heavy barrel with napalm and just one shot super mutants. Still playing with build combos. I'm short on cores and settled on a quad for the time being.

I copied all the grenade based perks and have an instigating weapon and my Nukas are not enough to kill a supermutant area with only one. Can you do a guide explaining the mechanics used to make them that powerful? I feel like I'm missing something

you can use the bug where if you have a single fire weapon you can shoot then aim on pretty much all single shooting weapons also including the fat man but that can for some reason shot 6 mini nukes in 1 shot if you keep shooting while you do the bug

I think Exeecutioners is better for Events because you usually aren't hitting every enemy at full health.

The first cremator i rolled was an instigating damage while aming breaks 50% slower

ATTENTION TURTLE!!!!! Does tenderizor perk work with creamator? Also does instigating stack with the dot tick damage

They nerfed it’s damage then raised its burn damage to high hell, now it one shots if you hit close enough because it will proc burn damage that’s so high it kills after two seconds of burn.

I finally rolled a quad and I just love it. I only carry the cremator and holy fire now.
