If you max the scrounger perk you get a chance to get a free mag whenever you empty a gun. I am pretty sure it scales with luck so I wonder if this would give a true endless mag.

@@Antares00 You can also get fusion cores down in price alot with char and perks (and drugs), to a point where you are paying less then what you would pay for normal ammo.

Yep, unless there’s a cap I’m not seeing the chance is 5% plus luck so all you’d need is 95 luck, which this build blows past. Infinite ammo

AH man, you missed a chance for a TF2 reference here. "I am Soul Survivor... and this [grabs Minigun] is my weapon. She weighs one hundred fifty kilograms and fires two hundred cap, custom-tooled soul gems at ten thousand rounds per minute. It costs four hundred thousand caps to fire this weapon...for twelve seconds."

This gives me nostalegia for the first Dead Island game , there was a "dev mod" secret easter egg set of upgrades you could find and aply to weapons and one of them was called the "Homerun Baseball Bat" and its basically this , you then spend the next 30 hours playing Baseball with zombies that run at you

And then you have Dying Light with the EXPCalibur where you can basically do the same thing if you Power Attack with it. During that event with Moon Gravity made that blade so fun. That was the most hilarious time I've had in a zombie game.

The "fast travel" mechanism could be a fun basis for a one-off. "Traveling across the Commonwealth and seeing the sights by flinging enemies and using the space-time continuum-breaking carpooling to travel with them"

@@mvanvoorden Speedrunners already heavily utilise Punch Warps to travel much greater distances than you would be able to with this without the need for a unique bat unfortunately

The sound effect triggering at the same time Pipers head bounced off the pipe left me stitches, you utter madman!

It's a shame there's no fall damage for enemies. That would be the chef's kiss.

I'm fairly certain that there is fall damage for them, one of his Nuka World series videos shows a deathclaw getting yeeted into space and dying on impact. I would guess that the legendary effect ragdolls them first then applies the force. Since they are ragdolled they take no physics damage and thus survive their landing.

@@bobbys332 this hs got to be what is happening. I once did a melee run and psychically hit a the starting deathclaw with a pool cue and it yeeted into space. When it fell it's ~half health became 0

There's a glitch that causes loading to pause falling damage, you can see it specifically when watching FO:NV speed runners when they do the .357 speed glitch.

I've also seen deathclaws take fall damage, due to that weird thing they do where they run toward you and then just yeet themselves into orbit... so I ducked under a tree and when it hit the tree it just shattered. Very fortunate for me lol I was not well armed at the time.

that's because this is what happens when dovahkin spends a bit too much time honningbrew meadery, of course!

15:45 Ok, so what happened here, is that deathclaw was launched with so much force that it was thrown into another map cell. It was moving so fast that it outsped the game's ability to load and, since your camera was following it, it did that freeze load thing. That was a problem people ran into a few years ago when people were developing things like the flyable vertibird mod.

That summed up my words exactly. "Oh my. Oh flipping my." as I was expecting him to go flying off maybe a hundred feet or so... not giant's club suborbital flight levels. Wow. (And then he gets killed by random synths, yep, that also tracks)

Putting this setup on something like that Power Fist thing you get from Swan would make a really fun meme playthrough where you One Punch Man your way through Survival Mode.

Teleporting with a shot/hit is a glitch I've run into. I shot a ghoul near the cargo company (Forget the name) near Abernathy Farm. The game did the scene that follows the bullet for a kill shot. Unfortunately it missed and transported me to where the bullet stopped. In the sky above Walden Pond. I, unlike you, did take falling damage and was killed. But I did get the XP for finding Walden.

I appreciate so much the dragonborn music started to begin when all special stats were set 🙈

You can just use any alcohol, food, or drug that lowers luck to get your luck to 11 from the very start with the special book. You didn't have to do all that to get those rags.

Possibly one of the greatest Fallout builds I’ve ever seen.

This video would have been perfect if you had used a mod (or the creation club dlc) that brings the horned healmet and the steel sword into fallout 4 and used those when you started playing the skyrim theme.

Someone should let Jason Bright know about this guy!

I've played with luck/crit builds, I think the highest I ever took it was about 26. I'm wondering what the math is on FO4's true test of Luck: The Perfectly Preserved Pie, when you can boost Luck to 100+

@@WarhammerGeek yep indeed you can. If I remember right it'll take a few hours pressing the button to get it. Your odds improve every time you try but it still takes a long time. There is one that is 100% guaranteed to give it to you first time. It's in the dump in Nuka world.

According to the calculation on the Wiki, 100 luck gives you a 20% chance to get the pie on the first try.

Probably. It's based on luck, of which you now have 115.

When you asked to guess what happens when you had the second beer, I instantly guessed and... oh nooooo...

Ok, this video left me in hysterics. I thought the bat was bad enough, but when Jon picked up a ripper from Arturo I absolutely lost it.

Omg i literally burst out laughing with that behemoth, great video Jon

When he said it was a dragonborn build i assumed he would be using the helmet and sword from the comic shop but this was so much better lol

Apparently the Whiterun giant was hammered before we got to hammer him back.

I downloaded the "get out of my way" mod that allows you to push enemies and companions alike out of your way. Crank up the distance and force and you can send them quite a ways away. I hate Rhys with a passion because of his attitude towards the SS and pushing him is just good fun. You can even push fully armored Brotherhood Knights off the Prydwyn with no consequence because it isn't a hostile attack. I got curious about fall damage using the push and climbed Trinity Tower. One push later and a near full health Fist went plummeting off the roof to his death below. This means the Mass Fusion fight later in the game will be hilarious.

"Oh WOW, 115 luck!!! He's going to try for ALL the pies!!" ~sad pie noises when it ends with no tries at pies~

@Tejesh Patel It is truly a sound of utter dispair and destitution. Imagine a new kitten waiting all day for his human to come home. The keys in the door and he starts to revv the purrrr engine and when the door opens he starts to unleash the most adorable little "mrrrppppp" ever to have graced the Earth and then trails off as his human trods past, ignoring the little ball of happy that is now going to grump in the corner for at least a year for the indignance. Now, add a couple of centuries of non-pie loving creatins that just walk on by, just assuming the nuclear powered batteries at dead and do not even take the chance and now..now the most gifted and lucky person that will ever be has passed you up as well. That little "mrrrp" of happy that trails off. The forlorn breath that follows. That...that is a sad pie noise.

I’m definitely in favor of more ridiculous build video showcases. This was awesome - thanks Jon!

I never quite knew what to do with the last tier of Party Girl. If I run a melee build, it’s usually without VATS, so the luck goes to waste. There are some alcohols that are for more than melee, but if I’m trying to justify 7 in Charisma, then it’s probably for Dirty Wastelanders.
