Whenever I play as a Male character in this game, after all the main story is finished, and the battle is over, I bring him to the veterans hall. He clears through it, and stands behind the microphone. He listens to the holotape Nora made for him one last time, and with both wedding rings on his fingers, he delivers the speech he meant to give all those years ago. War, War never changes.

It's metaphorical for all soldiers, and bitterly ironic - they often go off to war to defend their homes, families, and way of life; when they return, it's all changed, often beyond the soldiers' recognition.

I was walking the streets and I felt nostalgia and was very sad when I imagined myself as Nate walking at these streets, because he lived here and thats very sad for him to see his hometown like this. Try to imagine that you saw start of this war and you get frozen on 200 years, then get unfrozen and see your home like this. You lost everything you had, and now you have to survive. I think I could've just killed myself because I don't want to live in world like fallout.

war...war never changes. in the year 2005, my father serving on the internet, wondered when he would be able to upload his family videos. he got his wish when KZread was created. the internet awaited an influx of terrible videos. instead, something miraculous happened. we began to use KZread not as a waste of space, but as a nearly limitless source of content. people enjoyed videos once thought possible only in the realm of imagination. web shows, home made music videos. tech reviews. but then, in the 2010's, people awoke from the KZread dream. years of uploading, lead to shortage of any originality. the entire website unraveled. peace, became a distant memory. it is now the year 2016, and KZread stands on the brink of total war. and I am afraid. for my channel, for my wife's. for my infant son's. because if my time on the internet taught me one thing, it's that war...war never changes

We live in interesting and uncertain times. I remember that things used to feel more normal. More stable. Yet now I have this feeling there’s about to be a large shift in the world again. Maybe for the good in the end, maybe for the worse. Whatever is coming though I don’t expect will simply be some side note in the history books, but rather a center stage event that will rock the world as we know it. Perhaps it’s even happening now. There are many theories on things such as 5th generation warfare. Whatever comes we must all be ready. I think perhaps we will soon all learn that it seems we never truly advance. For every discovery we make we destroy old problems but open the door to new ones. It seems that mankind is incapable of curing its own ills. Only picking its cocktail of poisons and medicines.

@@ReformedSooner24Fallout delivers this very same message, no matter how advance a society becomes, we are always bound to commit the same mistakes our forefathers did, our hunger for power and control overcomes the best of us, instead of going forward and curing the earth, we invent new ways to destroy it such as the atomic bomb, maybe we will find a way to cure the world and it's people and look towards a better future, just like the soul survivor and the lone wanderer, but such characters have the freewill to choose the evil path, perhaps humanity will find a way to cure the earth or end it once and for all.

By the 2020s, the world had recovered, but then, chaos hit again, this time, on a global scale. I don't know why fallout 4 got as much hate as it did, great story, soundtrack, comfortable weapon designs ( I'll get to scope recticals in a moment ), interesting character development, fun survival mode, fun quests (some tedious) and overall better graphics than the previous fallouts. It did have its problems though, like the glitches, the scope recticals, creation engine, breaches in the lore, " *there's a settlement in danger* " ect.

Personally I loved the game play aspect of the game, the story tho, it could have been better. Like don’t get me wrong it was an alright story but it had so much more potential, but your right the game got far to much hate, it has its flaws but ultimately the game was good. But like I said they could have possibly improved the story.

I am honestly impressed on how well they created the game. It seems like they put a lot of actual effort into it, sure it still has a lot missing that it could have, and it still has a lot of flaws but I was beyond impressed on how well Bethsesda did with this. And they actually animated the hair so it doesn't look like it was super glued to your head. xD But I really enjoy this game, it has great gameplay a pretty nice plot (although they could have made some major improvements on it, but was OKAY..) and awesome music like all the other Fallouts.

I think that they were focusing on upgrading the quality of game play since that was pretty much the entire selling point of this. Making towns for you yourself to visit, exploring a world bigger than any other previous fallout game, balanced game mechanics, no rank limit... Honestly, the story kind of takes a back seat to enjoying the world. How many times did you forget about rescuing your baby while doing side quests? As for factions, the factions are all firm in their ways. Each one has ideas that counter others, for players who wanted more diverse factions than just the plane good vs bad groups of the past. Get rid of house and it's sort of neutral, keep him and it's kind of bad but not as bad as the Legion with the NCR being the obvious good guys. In Fallout 4, we have the Railroad, nice tie in to Fallout 3, the Minutemen, The Brotherhood of Steel, and the Institute. The same amount of faction choices as before but now you can combine them together but you can't combine the Institute with any of them... why? Because lore wise the Institute ruined their lives and terrorizes them... The only *_real_* down play here is the lack of dialogue diversity...

This piece portrays the emotions what the Fallout 4 story should have been about. No Family Member survives. Only your player character. A lone survivor from another time roaming lost through the wasteland that was once his home. Sad but at the same time hopeful because he/she brings new hope to the Commonwealth through the settlements. The setting has so much more potential and gets thrown away with some arbitrary institution and some child you have no connection to.

How we still have war with the raiders, others. humankind never changes. war never does either. its so true and sad that, this can actually happen. but we dont have the choices to respond. one hit of a bullet. could end you right then and there. its sad, that we already have the threats this bring me to tears because it could all be so true in the end. too bad i never got to finish the game.

Fallout 4 taught me two very important life lessons. 1- Get a German Shepherd! Call it 'Dogmeat', and play fetch with it all day, every day. I fucking love that dog! 2- The Atom Bomb has to be one of the biggest mistakes that Mankind has ever made. By creating such a monstrosity, we have opened the door to a potential conflict that would end the world as we know it. Look what these horrors did to Hiroshima, to the Japanese families in Nagasaki who have children and grandchildren born with mutations and defects, some of them fatal...The Cold War that lasted from the 60s well into the 90s. The recent Crimea Incident where Putin was considering nuclear action against the US and it's western Allies...and now the NoKo Missile Crisis of 2016 to Present. The Atom Bomb brings us peace and stability, sure...it tells our enemies (and our allies) that we are a force to be reckoned with. That if you fire yours and blow us up...we'll be damned if we aren't going to do the same to you (MAD/ Mutually Assured Destruction). It keeps those who have a few screws loose in check, they know that if they use their bombs...they will have others coming at them...and stops them from implementing their suicidal ideals. But If I know my own people, the Human Race...I know that we are incredibly stupid from time to times, and I fear that one of these stupid 'episodes' will put someone in a position of power, who is detached from the consequences, detached from the reality that if they fire those missiles...everybody dies...even them. I know President Trump is a bit of a loose cannon, but I believe he has enough sense to avoid going Nuclear, especially with the NoKo missle crisis. He was a business man after all...and he has rational thoughts...from time to time. At-least I hope he does.... Nuclear Weapons, in ANY form, are bad...it doesn't matter if their sitting in a silo and will never be used, anything is possible. That doesn't change the fact that they are bad...that the suffering they cause has no excuse...even if times are so desperately bad that nation leaders consider using them. There is no reason for them to exist...we SHOULD remove them...dis-arm them... I know I'm probably going to get a load of people with the 'Nukes are Necessary' Argument. And you're entitled to your opinions...just remember, if you do comment...this is my Opinion...and there doesn't need to be a flame war.

that's, in my opinion, what Bethesda and Fallout want to teach us. that war never changes, and neither does human nature. even after total annihilation, when there are only a handful of people left on the planet, their first thought is to kill each other. it's Human nature. Like it or not, it's who we are. Fallout wants to teach us that because we have the potential to destroy ourselves in a push of a button, we are doomed. I hate to say it, but Humanity is doomed. There is gonna be some kind of crisis in the future that will trigger it, if the NoKo Missile Crisis doesn't do that already. and when it does, the only thing we can do is to hope or pray that Humanity, with all of it's flaws, can be saved in the future. there will be survivors. Garunteed. the President, most likely. We can only hope that in the future, when all is said and done, and when we start over from scratch, that Humanity can learn from it's mistakes and start anew.

Fallout 1 and 2: A destroyed world, suffering from the effects of Fallout. Fallout 3: A world broken, with a great hope that requires great sacrifice. Fallout New Vegas: A war between two factions that will drag the people into turmoil. Fallout 4: A broken world, with hope, now rebuilding I really feel that the ost of Fallout, especially Fallout 4 captures these feelings in an absolutely perfect way. Inon Zur is an absolute genius when it comes to capturing emotion.

Such a haunting and beautiful composition. It can be easy to forget how the story of Fallout 4 begins when playing. This song reminds you of that, and how lost the Sole Survivor must feel. Even if he/she can build a life in this new world, they can never go back to what once was.

@@drip3889 I didn't really mind that the game was glitchy at first I mean I was patient with. Some of the glitches though we're quite hilarious and I enjoy the game as the game progressed up until one day when I learned about the repair kits. and I did some further research and when I found out it was mandatory to have in order to repair your weapons/ armor that just made me leave fallout 76 was that the repair kits for something that the community wanted and I know specifically that is not the case I probably think that Todd decided to go to the fallout community and bribed some of those people the say that this is what the community wanted. And what's even more ridiculous is that despite how much I hate fortnite at least they kept a promise on cosmetics only.

This brings an ache for a time, people and a place thats no longer the same, its empty and gone. The house I was raised in and knew my whole life is empty of the ones I love. Its now a ghost of painful memories of days once filled with joy that lay barren with regrets of things I never said. Apologies to late to make, expression of love and gratitude I kept locked inside only now a silent whisper. To my grandparents I thank you for time you invested to me in my youth. To my bother I wish you would have waited just 3 seconds more, the police said just 3 more and you never would have pulled the trigger. To my sister I always did love you even after our worst times I was just hurt, I wished you would have called me before your surgery so I could have made you laugh just one more time. Now six months apart both my siblings, my only siblings are gone. Our last memory the house I was raised in for my birthday where you got to see me propose but you will never make it to my wedding like i was there for yours. Dad said he wanted everybody together cause he felt like it may be the last time we would, how right he was. To my father returning home to a house with ghosts of my siblings helping you before you started chemo. We spoke lots in silent ways and vocalized some things we never could before. How I wish I had more time, I wish I had been closer. To my childhood home you are a bittersweet memory Ill always love. I said goodbye after I returned again to see Dad off for the last time, held his hand as it slowly grew cold. By then you had already been sold and a new family lit your halls and I pray you give them the same safety and happiness as I had. The night he left I said my goodbyes to a place that now no longer existed just a spector in my memories. Now I will return for the very last time and face that time has changed but know, my ghosts that you havent been forgotten even if the warmth of you all has gone. Goodbye and know I wil always love you.

Whenever I hear the war never changes speech it makes me sad thinking about how horrible war is. Many die without even having a chance to protect themselves. My great uncle served in the marine corps during the 70s/80s. On October 23d 1981 he was sleeping in his barracks in Beirut when a suicide bomber in a truck drove the bomb into the building and killed hundreds. My great uncle was one the 220 marines that died in the explosion. He was never given a chance.

I never heard anything about this game, I was with my brother and we were at our church with our dad (he had to talk to someone) so we got on our church's xbox and started playing we played through the whole campaign over a matter of time we would go thier and play it. I didn't know anything about it but as a beginner me and my brother both loved it we thought it was amazing. Funny how first time players with no bias can go against what others feel just from social pressure. But anyways amazing piece brings back old times

This music captures the true feeling of the devastation that war brings and how we can be the ultimate destruction of our selves unless we do something to stop that from happening, because when the bombs do really drop we will look back at our mistakes and realize that there isn’t any going back and we can only move forward to the future, with the scars of the past to remind us of one thing and one thing alone.... war... war never changes...
