I got so emotional over the fact that rodeo is now doing a purple "Man Up" against domestic violence campaign. You have helped me build my confidence on a horse. Yesterday my horse was testing me and I was able to handle it by my self and I know a month ago I wouldn't have handled it that well thanks for being my role model.

I compete in Endurance in South Africa and a horse that is sound metabolically, is worth its weight in gold. A horse that stops eating or drinking throughout the day, is a struggle... I had a horse I rode my first 100 miler on. 6 loops with a 45 minute break between each loop (after a thorough vet check after each loop). He would eat his concentrates, his lucern, some grass, drink water, have a pee and have a snooze in those 45 mins... He was such a star! We unfortunately lost him a few months ago, but he was worth more than gold!!
